it is pretty pathctic how pikachu which should be like lvl 100 by now got easily beaten by a lvl 5 snivy i realize that pikachu was suffering from zekroms thunderbolt but the first quick attack should have killed snivy instanly.

I just watch this episode again. WHAT HAPPENED TO TEAM ROCKET?!?! and I wonder what his whole team will be. Mine is Samurott, Simisear, Leavany, Zebstrika, Excadrill and Team Rocket Gruntttttttttt's Hydreigon! He is still a Dieno and is more of an HM slave than a pokemon for power.

Good ol Professer Oak I hate his voice now though. It was cool to see Zekrom. Oshawott is so cute I hated the fact that Pikachu got drained from it's electrical attacks yet again. I hate Trip's personality to much like Paul. 6/10

This episode is my first ever Pokemon episode to be a Japanese sub. It was weird. Not in a bad sense, it's much better than the dub in all regards (Do I need to remind you of ''Maybe I'll catch a Fire-Type Pokemon, or... a Grass-Type or WATER-Pokemon!!!''?). But it was weird hearing Ash (Sorry, Satoshi) saying stuff like ''Use 100,000 Volts!!'' or listening to James (Sorry, Kojiro) not speaking in an over the top flamboyant accent.
Overall, it was a great episode. In the dub, terrible. But the Japanese version have brilliant!

Ha, that's funny. It was also my first Japanese subbed episode :P
But, when it comes to the english and japanese versions, I obviously do prefer the japanese version. But, I think the english version has come a long way since the new voice actors first came. Though Ash still has some bad moments, for the most part, I think his voice actor is really starting to get the hang of it. Plus, I think Iris and Cilan's english voices are perfect.

Experience doesn't matter in the anime. Just because your Pikachu beat a Latios doesn't mean it won't lose to a Servine/Snivy.
