hmmm nice episode this first one. everything good except that kid trip...whats his problem in life? cant he be a little polite or something?
too bad ash lost to him!

Swellow and Sceptile battled Latios as well, and Pikachu only tied after all that.

Experience doesn't matter in the anime. Just because your Pikachu beat a Latios doesn't mean it won't lose to a Servine/Snivy.

Pikachu couldn't use it's electric attacks, and besides, Pikachu can't use Thunder anymore. It's moves were ThunderBolt, Iron Tail, Quick Attack and Volt Tackle (which gets changed to Electro Ball later on)

You no wht I love about this epsiode? I love how after however many years ash has battled gym leaders, gone throughout EVERY region, pwned almost everyone he met, thy go and make him 10 again, take away all his epicness an skills, and practically start his life over. Still, I used to watch pokemon when I was young and I still love seeing the pokemon actually move and talk (if pika pika counts as talking) and seeing wht moves actually look like (instead of seeing a waterfall or wave appear out of nowhere and attack the other pokemon)

THE writers because they done something similar to this in honnen

,but I got some serious criticism about the new season.

First of all , Ash seems younger now , still at age 10 , he also seem to have lost all of his experience :/ he couldn't even win from Tripp's Snivy with his LVL 100 Pikachu :s ! Also I don't like the new vibe around Team Rocket :s They became so serious and don't even say ''We're blasting off again" anymore :'( stupid... And now Brock is gone ... :/ and everything about the Sinnoh League seem to be forgotten :/ Didn't happen that severely in the beginning of Sinnoh League... Also the Iris character is so ... :/ uuh stupid kinda repetitive too.. "You're such a kid" :/ also nothing special here like pokemon contests which where COOOOL :s ! well thats my opinion ... What's yours ?!

No contests is good. Iris is 10X better then dawn, and there is some humor

Can't you read the post above yours? Ash never ages, he was always ten years old, and always will be.

Snivy was stronger than Pikachu, and Pikachu's electricity was messed up.

... Also the Iris character is so ... :/ uuh stupid.......

So were Misty, May, and Dawn. Iris is better than all three of them.
