I got a DS set for Virizion here. It looks somewhat interesting, and is resistant to dark moves most usual DS'ers are killed by.

    Virizion@LightClay(?)
    EV's: 252Spe/182Def/70HP
    Nature:Impish
    Ability:Justified
    -Light Screen
    -Reflect
    -Sacred Sword
    -Substitute/Safeguard/StoneEdge

The idea of this set is to quickly put up Reflect to boost it's rather frail defenses, after which light screen can be used to give an overall boost in defense for the team. Sacred Sword is a great STAB move, and negates any defensive boosts on the enemy, and also prevents to be setup-bait by Taunt.
I'm not entirely sure what i could put on the last slot, Safeguard is there to avoid the enemy team giving me nasty status effects with moves like T-Wave or Will-O-Wisp, while substitute let's it survive longer (in which case the prefered item would be leftovers, i think.). Stone Edge is to deal with Virizions rather annoying 4x Flying weakness, and possibly somewhat surprising any Flying type switch-ins.

    Any tips?

i know i have posted my scolipede moveset a couple of times, but now i want to comapere to a different idea.

Both of these baton passers would switch in to a Jellicent (which my team is built around). since jellicent has great spdef, i also want to give him good def. So...

    Scolipede @Swarm
    Item- Focus Sash
    Nature- Jolly
    EVS 252 Spd 252 Atk 4 Def

    Iron Defense
    Baton Pass
    Megahorn
    Toxic or Earthquake

    OR

    Accelgor @Hydration
    Item- Focus Sash
    Nature- Hasty
    EVS 252 Spd 252 SpAtk 4 SpDef

    Acid Armor
    Baton Pass
    Bug Buzz
    Energy Ball

You want an offensive Empoleon? Run SubPetaya.

    Substitute, Agility, Surf, Ice Beam.

Decimates everything. Set up a sub, use Agility, activate Petaya Berry, and typing provides key resistances to most priority moves. Surf gets boosted by Torrent if you have the Sub down at the right percentage.

I can't provide an EV spread. Smogon might have one.

I didn't use this set in OU, but I used a Piplup set in OU for the lulz.

    I swept stuff. :D

Resists most priority... Except for mach punch, (possibly) the most common priority move of them all.

Mach Punch and Vacuum Wave are actually very uncommon. Of the Fighting types that use them, only Conkeldurr, Hitmontop, Hitmonchan, and maybe Breloom use them. Vacuum Wave users are even less common, Nasty Plot Toxicroak and Blaziken and Infernape being such examples.

Ice Shard and Bullet Punch are 4x resist priority attacks that Empoleon resists, the rest being seldom seen. SubPetaya Empoleon is incredibly lethal because almost no one is prepared for him.

And on that note, pokemon with a Water immunity ability are Water types that take neutral damage to Ice attacks. Quagsire, Gastrodon, Mantine, Vaporeon being the only one with an Ice resist as well. Not much can wall Empoleon because of all these factors.

    Breloom @ Toxic Orb
    Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: Not really sure, sorry. But stats are as follows - Attack, 172, Defense, 106, Sp. Atk, 71, Sp. Def, 86, and Speed, 141. If that even helps.
    Nature: Jolly
    - Seed Bomb
    - Focus Punch
    - Facade
    - Spore

I usually send out Breloom first. Its speed is usually higher than the other pokemon's, so I use Spore to put it to sleep. (Its never missed, yet.) I get poisoned by the Toxic Orb. If the pokemon had done any damage, a little gets healed. Usually, I would then use Facade which does double the damage since Breloom is poisoned, and the pokemon usually faints. Depending on the type, I will sometimes use Focus Punch, and since the pokemon is asleep, it can't be stopped. (Unless the pokemon wakes up.) Or I will use Seed Bomb if it is supereffective. That usually knocks the pokemon out, and Breloom still gets HP healed.
    Is that good?

    That Breloom's level is...?

    And that set's pretty standard.

Mach Punch is ridiculously common. Every team has at least one Mach Puncher and that's usually Conkeldurr. Bullet Punch on the other hand is only seen on Scizor. And Ice Shard on Mamoswine and some Weavile.
    Ignore, thanks.

Breloom's level is 53, right now. And what do you mean about Mach Punch? Should I use that? I put Focus Punch.

No Mach Punch is unrelated. Level 53... Eh the EVs should be OK i guess.

    The set is fine.

ehh got kinda bored not a VGC set but i made it anyway
    Stunfisk @ Leftovers
    Careful
    Static
    252 hp/159 sp def/ 4 atk/ 96 def
    Pain split
    yawn/T-wave
    curse
    Rock slide/Revenge/scald/T-bolt

basically I saw a vgc amoongus and looked at stunfisks's stats most of fisky's stats were better.
I kinda cheated I copied an ev set of an amoongus but changed it to accommodate stunfisk's stats (def to sp def and sp def to def)
The only thing Stunfisk lacks is a good recovery move the only one he has access to is pain split (that or rest but ehhh). Yawn to put the opponent to sleep and it allows me to set up a few curses. Rock slide or revenge to make use of the attack boost from curse scald to make use of the defensive boost (burn reduces attack. less attack= stronger defenses) T-bolt to give it a STAB move. If I use sp atks the evs and nature will be changed!
The moves in bold are the ones that I think would work best but I need input from others

    What's up with his EVs?

    Stunfisk (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Static
    EVs: 228 HP / 56 Def / 224 SDef
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Pain Split
    - Yawn
    - Scald
    - Discharge

    I'd do this, TRIPLE STATUS!

Ok maybe it's a gimmick but...
    Ignore, thanks.

Got myself a nice Anti-lead set for Absol, but still doubting some things...

    Absol (M) @ Focus Sash
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Sucker Punch
    - Swords Dance/ Superpower
    - Snatch
    - Magic Coat/ Superpower

Pressure as ability due to the learning of Snatch in 4th gen.
Swords Dance + Sucker Punch to set up against switch ins or pure attackers. Snatch to steal momentum of the setting up opponent, which got me a swords dance, dragon dance or quiver dance boost multiple times at the start... even a Substitute here and there! Magic Coat to counter the oh so many entry hazards, instead of setting them up myself. The super priority of both Snatch and Magic Coat make even Prankster Taunters fear, as Taunt can be bounced back. EV's in both Attack for Sucker Punch, and HP for Survival. Focus Sash gives me a guaranteed two turn set up, although Tyranitar, Abomasnow and Hippowdon might ruin that for me...

Still doubting about implementing Superpower though. I ran it instead of Magic Coat first, which gave me some more coverage and a way to sweep once I'm buffed up enough and need to surprise switch-ins, but it would lose its ability to bounce back the o so famous entry hazards. I could also replace it with swords dance, but i noticed that Dancing + Sucker Punch can kill lots of pokemon that aren't Dark resistant...

Any lead that is OHKOd by mianshao (one of if not the most common lead these days) isn't that good. Plus fake out breaks your sash first.

    i have a plan

    Swellow
    - Facade
    - Protect
    - whirlwind
    - Aerial ace
    Item Attached:flame Orb
    Trait:guts
    EVs and Nature:
    EVs: 4 HP 252 Speed / 252 Attack
    jolly Nature (+speed,-SAtk)

ok the first round use Protect, then the second round the flame orb will burn swellow making guts and Facade power up
my swellow (if i did the math right)will have around 403 attack as well as its 383 speed(yes my swellow has 31 IVs in attack and speed)and with Facade power doubled and with STAB it should have 210 power(if i did the math right).
and whirlwind is to get rid of steel, rock and ghosts types.
Might replace Aerial ace,if you think i should suggest something

    so what do you think

Hmmm... have it teamed up with Golurk atm, which gives me the opportunity to either switch in before hand, or after the Fake Out, so I have a chance to let Mienshao Hi-Jump Kick itself dead.

    Eh well...
Agility Reckless Raptor shares the same typing, slightly more damage output, more speed, gets an item, has better coverage. Of course even I don't run Agility on Staraptor. Also it should be

    - Brave Bird
    - Facade
    - Protect
    - Pursuit / U-Turn
    Ignore, thanks.

Aerial Ace does pathetic damage, Brave Bird. Staraptor has Reckless, which means you get 3HKOed by Recoil, which works for me.
