*Pretty Simple set really. Use Thunder Wave, set up a Substitute, spam Charge Beams (they have an 140% chance of raising your special attack) and Attack. HP Ice stops melo being walled by Grounds and Dragons, Hyper Voice and Psychic are for STAB. Leftovers can give you back your HP, and King's Rock can be used as a minor paraflinch.*

Why bother with Gigalith if all he does is set up SR when Roggenrola can do the same thing? Only, with less stats, Roggenrola serves as a utility pokemon more than anything.

Set up Stealth Rock. Set up Sandstorm, especially if you're running Smooth Rock. Protect is there for scouting and has utility in Doubles. Speaking of which, Smack Down is another STAB utility move, especially in Doubles and Triples. Remove Ground immunities with a STAB attack, and Protect the next turn to save himself from teammates Earthquakes. Roggenrola doesn't do too bad on the offense, as long as he's hitting for Super Effective damage. Rock Blast is there if you don't need the Sandstorm.

This set poses options for teams not wanting Tyranitar/Hippowdon/Hippopotas.

Eviolite is redundant for a few things. Lack of recovery, Sturdy, and Roggenrola only needing to set up once.

For the same reasons, Boldore does not need Eviolite. Interestingly, I also have a Boldore set.

Gravity Boldore. Set up Gravity, use Protect. Protect is a must in Gravity, especially in Doubles and Triples. STAB Stone Edge plus Rock Gem does some serious damage in Gravity, since Stone Edge won't miss. Earthquake rounds up the coverage, since in Gravity, nothing resists the combo. Well, almost nothing.


And finally, a Gigalith set to complete the evolution line.

Curse ResTo Gigalith. Natures and EVs let him tank hits in Sandstorm, which also boosts Sand Force and his Rock STABS. You'll need Curse to make up for the lack of offensive EVs, but with enough boosts under your belt, and Sandstorm in play, Gigalith will be nearly unstoppable. Rest and Chesto berry to be completely healed up after you've achieved a satisfactory number of Curses. Rock Slide or Smack Down is your move of choice. Smack Down has more PP and doubles as a utility when facing pokemon immune to Ground. There are a few pokemon immune to Ground that resist Rock, such as Flygon, Claydol, Bronzong, and Eelektross, but he takes more damage from Earthquake than Smack Down. Rock Slide has more power and can hit two opponents, so either attack is up to you.

Roggenrola is still silly. :D

I don't understand why every one has a sudden urge to use prevos this gen! Eviolite dusklops, polygon-2 and chansey are acceptable but you just posted a boldore and roggenrola set, some one a few posts back posted a bidoof, a few pages back someone posted a realy good sneasel set actualy and also several pages back (maybe not even on this thread) some one was talking about a sub/petaya piplup O_o. I just don't get it!

I wouldn't say. I've fought a Simple Bidoof in Doubles, along with a Follow Me Sentret.

To be used with Fire Pledge, to create the Rainbow Effect.

Under Rainbow, Scald becomes a 60% chance burn to the opponent, while also functioning as a STAB attack. Aqua Ring is there since you have no other form of recovery, and Ice Beam is for offense. You can also go with Protect to stall Burn and Lefties recovery.
