^I'm not sure, but i think worry seed does not erase truant or slow start. EDIT: What's the best counter to chloryphyl sweepers?

Does the absorb bulb give a one-off water immunity?
I am thinking of using it on my volcarona.

    I HAVE CLAIMED GULPIN!

No immunity, only the SpAtk boost. Your Volcarona would still be subject to 2x Super Effective damage.

    Either leftovers or lum berry.

I prefer lum berry because it stops random thunder waves and toxic from stopping Volc's sweep.

I run the bulky Max D 248 HP (to have an odd amount of HP in case of SR) Bold version with lefties.

    I have claimed Giratina

    Why wouldn't it?

Gardevoir use to have a niche for doing that thanks to Trace before she got downgraded. It seems like a good counter would simply be removing the sun support, no?

Thanks, it doesn't erase it because that's how the games are programed.

what would be the best replacement for a gliscor that is resistant to ice and fire?
Yep we should ban baton pass, and weather too. Oh and Trick Room, I'm tired of having to worry about Trick Room all the time. Just ban the move Trick Room, and prankster, it's broken. Ban all status moves on prankster users, they're too cheap. Oh and ban Probopass to it's so cheap. Just ban everything except Magikarp with splash.
Well, actually Blaziken isn't really Uber because some people whined about how they were getting owned by it. I mean, it doesn't stand a chance in the Uber enviroment.

^It all really depends on your team. Something with thick fat could work.

Most Waters have those resistances. Rotom-W is a notable one. Fire types in general do as well, although probably the only one you'll want to try and take one of those hits is Heatran. Then there's Thick Fat, but the only good Thick Fat user I can think of is Snorlax, who is not so good in OU.

Which is the better ability for a Tirtouga, Solid Rock or Sturdy?
I'm thinking Solid Rock, but I'm not sure.

Starmie, Tentacruel and Slowbro resist Ice and Fire while also resisting Fighting. Gyarados resist fighting and fire while being immune to ground but is neutral to ice. Jellicent resists ice / fire but is immune to fighting.

    Edit: Solid Rock by far.

Sturdy, unequivocally. As a Shell Smasher, Sturdy is a Godsent for him.

With Shell Smash, Tirtouga (I believe you meant Carracosta, by the way) has its defenses dropped. At that point, Solid Rock isn't helping much, while Sturdy will allow it to survive at least one hit as long as it's at full health. Now, if you were doing a non-Shell Smash set, perhaps something a little bulkier, Solid Rock would be the superior option.

I have Tirtougas at the moment, so I asked for them. But yes, they will be Carracostas.
And that makes sense. I wasn't planning on using Shell Smash though, so I'll probably go with Solid Rock. Unless I change my mind. It's all very hypothetical at the moment.

    Thanks for the help!

^Why would you use one without shell smash??
