Weather teams have become a very prominent part of this metagame. While if over half are weather teams is unknown to me, I am certainly seeing a lot of them. Sand lost some viabilty with Excadrill's banning, but rain continues to be very common, followed by Sun. I was doing some canonical research on Thundurus and Tornadus recently, and with Thundurus' recent ban to ubers, it made me want to see where Tornadus fell. I was surprised to see he is listed as UU. What are some of the big differences between the two that would make Thundurus a full two tiers higher than Tornadus? I didn't see much in the way of a big difference, but then again I only skimmed.

What is the easiest and most realistic way to level my ev trained pokemon to level 50 without messing their ev's up?

You could leave them in the daycare for a while. It might take a long time but is the only way of doing it without rare candies

You won't mess their EVs up if they already have max EVs. Train however you want.

Not a tool
Once EVs are maxed out, they won't change unless you use EV-reducing berries on your pokemon. So slap on a lucky egg and go beat some wild pokemon like you would train any normal pokemon.

I use a Heatran set with Magma Storm on it instead of the more standard Fire Blast because of the guaranteed 4-5 turns of trapping effects that come with Magma Storm. It's a trade-off of 10% accuracy for a fairly sizable length of guaranteed trapping, but the moves are identical otherwise; that's reason enough to opt for Magma Storm over Fire Blast as far as I'm concerned. But while this works as intended for in-game battles, I've noticed that on PO, people are able to switch out immediately after being hit with Magma Storm. Is this a glitch? They still take the residual damage every turn, but don't seem to be restricted from switching.

Still in preparation for team design, I have another question that has always bugged me:
How do moves transfer between Shaymin forms? Can I have a Shaymin set with Tailwind or Air Slash?

^No, he will die regardless of sturdy/focus sash. However, using a pokemon with sturdy/focus sash can be effective for using up sash then going boom. However, explosion is nerfed and isn't that useful outside of gen 4.

One question:
Is howl+flareblitz ninetales a good and unexpected combo? The base attack is lower and physical moves are lower in amount, but it could it work?

It very bad honestly but if you can play with the element of surprise then you can get a good offesnive treath, but is not very efficient honestly
