I just caught an Adamant Max Atk IV Zekrom!
!!!!!
Problem is, it's other IVs aren't too great. 2/31/28/6/0/10. I was wondering, since I remember someone having a Brave Zekrom and something about mixed sets. But my Zekrom is Adamant, what moveset can I give it?
(And I don't play Ubers, but this thing is... Influential? Gotta try it out. I can't soft reset.)
Oh, and this is kind of offtopic, but does anyone know how to access the Dream World?

Honestly, those ivs are terrible. At any rate, probably something like this
-Lightning Strike (or whatever it's sig move is called)
-Outrage
-Dragon Claw
-Filler

I know those IVs are crap. But I can't soft reset... sadly. At least he's not been fighting anyone so he has no EVs in the wrong places. But then again, it'd take me forever if I had soft resetted. It took me 2 hours just to get my Cobalion's Nature right, and it's IVs are still crap

Well even with a Synchronizer, it'll still be a pain to catch a legendary not named Dialga, Palkia, Reshiram, and Zekrom, and you'll have to keep wasting potions and revives on that Pokemon.

Reading ADWD
samurott, haxorus, levanny, bisharp, and escaliver can learn false swipe. DO NOT USE THE MASTERBALL ON ZEKROM/RESHIRAM! they have a relatively high catch rate and I caught it with only one dusk ball after false swiping and paralyzing. your syncronizer could be filler and you just rely on overleveled pokemon

Beginning Trainer
So I just joined the forums and I have been playing pokemon since third generation. With the addition of random wifi battles in 5th gen, it seems almost necessary to build a competitive team. I did make a team for 4th gen, but at the time I wasnt thinking about team comp, just finding pokemon with high stats. So now id like to build an actual team with good synergy and able to cover up most weaknesses. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm trying to get into Random Matchup, but it keeps saying there is something wrong with your pokemon. Does it pick up modded pokes, because I only have one modded pokemon, and all I did was give it Volt Tackle and made shiny :\ is that the problem?

I believe it was banned because it can choose evasion as one of its stat-ups, and unlike acupressure it doesn't eat up a turn to use.

Random Moody users like Bidoof can literally destroy even Uber teams if they get enough evasion boosts and then just spam Sub and Protect. Luck factor. Big one.

I think how it works is it checks the moveset with what is possible for that Pokémon, and if it's an impossible moveset (like a Pikachu with surf) then it bans it from random matchup, like if it was an event or a superlegendary(
).
