it's been over four months since the last suspect test, and i'd be genuinely surprised if thundurus got over the (2/3)+1 ban threshold this time. opinions change over time, and i'm fairly certain a lot of them have changed over thundurus.
Actually I think Thunderbro only needs the simple majority this time. But yeah, I chose my words carefully. I knew there are suspect voters on Serebii, so I didn't just say there's nothing any of us can do about it.

Bleh in the end I just voted ban on Baton Pass and nothing on the weathers.

I wonder which mons we'll be voting on though.

Banning weathers would totally change the metagame and the OU list...

I want to see this happen.

I believe Jabba posted that poke suspects were Deoxys-S, Thundurus, Excadrill, Dragonite, and Volcarona.

Dragonite is a suspect. What a joke.

At least they didn't take the noms for Lucario, Rotom-W, Conkeldurr, or Reuniclus seriously.

Also DW Sableye, Alakazam, and Volbeat are out now apparently.

Can someone explain to me why DW Volbeat is even a nomination for this? I mean Prankster is a good ability, but does it really give the bug some power behind it as a staller when the stats for it are kind of meh.

Granted I can say the same thing about Whimsicott...but I would presume Whimsicott is the superior choice here.

It wasn't nominated, I was just mentioning those 3 were released. Those are the only 3 that look any good from this expansion in DW. The point of Volbeat isn't to stall either, its Tail Glow and Baton Pass with priority that will make it useable. Remember, Tail Glow is +3 now.

Fair point, but I don't think it has enough power to actually be of use...

    Just my thought though.

Ban weather, and we might actually get a stable metagame. MIGHT.

Remember, it could be of use in lower tiers.

Actually that does give me an idea about using Volc in ubers, especially with the number of Psychics.

my ballot for the non-pokemon vote:

    Sand Stream: Do Not Ban
    Drizzle: Ban
    Drought: Ban
    Snow Warning: Do Not Ban
    Baton Pass: Ban

reason i didn't vote ban for sandstream is because i guess i'm gonna vote exca, even though i was opposed to banning it at first

BP IS broken. Vaporeon BPs Acid Armors to Mew, Mew CMs, Mew Subs, passes to Espeon, gg.

Remember that you can't Roar them because they can just pass to Mr. Mime if they see it coming. And then BP to Espeon.

baton pass isn't broken if you've mastered the art of controlling critical hits!

Why would they split up weather-inducing abilities? Just think, if two weathers are banned and one isn't, then that one weather will become more broken than they all were together.

People might not want to ban Sand since banning Excadrill would probably sufficiently nerf it, and honestly I don't even know why they have hail on the poll.

When I managed to beat heist with it.

Because that's the only time i've legit beat heist without hax in bw ou. D=

edit: but uh, it was actually when stunt completely ****ed up the ladder with it, he got to like 1500 with around two losses or something and his baton pass team was really p bad. Then a bunch of people realized how strong espeon was and it got really popular and people figured out that it was really ****ing hard to counter without resorting to haze and stuff like that.

What was his team? The only serious mention I've ever heard of a good player using Baton Pass was IPL in gen 4 and he used a Flash Ninjask lead...

He was using rain stall. With Perish Song Toed and DTail Dragonite, two of the best tools for supposedly countering Baton Pass.

Shouldn't Dusclops be better than UU? I find it very effective.

Tiers are based on usage stats, not a subjective analysis.
