Just did. Cool, but I'm iffy on the 3D. Seeing my old Pokemon in 3D would be weird (assuming - and hoping - you can transfer them).
My starters (not counting trades or the SS gifts) are Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Torchic, Piplup, Snivy, Oshawott and Fennekin. Balanced, I guess. I just go with my favourites.
