So why even bring it up in the first place? Heavens know it has been beaten to death by everyone and their mother.

Target Field is a brand new venue only in its second year after decades of the Metrodome, and the Twins are coming off of 94 wins and a division title.

Nothing has said this. Even if the team was mediocre and ownership in shambles, Clayton Kershaw and Matt Kemp are worth the price of admission alone and Dodger Stadium is still an iconic venue, still a destination and the southern California weather doesn't hurt any.

The list isn't all that surprising, really. The teams you'd expect to be in the upper half are there and the teams you'd expect to be in the lower half are there.

    Your point is?

They're a high-market team. With the second highest payroll in the league, I expect them to be in the top (2).

Sure, Kemp and Kershaw are both competing for the NL's respective crowns, but what makes it so great? I heared they dropped about 500,000 in attendance and I expected them in the lower half of it.

Eh, not really. I expected the yankees and phillies to be in the bottom of the list and the Pirates and Marlins to rock the top.

You "heared" from where, exactly? And regardless of whether they did or didn't drop by 500,000, the numbers very clearly say they were 11th in attendance, don't they?

I 'heared' from SportsCenter, as well as the stats.

Okay. And yet we still come to the reality that despite the drop, they're still middle-of-the-pack in attendance.

I'm afraid my friends in Los Angeles took a 1,000,000 fan drop this year.

And you remember what happened to that guy that is still in a friggin coma because of some mexican giants fans beating him up? Now that isn't nice, is it?

I'm not quite understanding your quest here. We've established they dropped. We've established they're still 11th overall. Are you trying to argue they shouldn't be 11th, or are you just harping on a minor detail, or what? I can discuss on either point, just clarify for me v

I love seeing the Crew up there. It shows how loyal our fans are, being the smallest market in baseball.

The Brewers' Opening Day payroll was $83,590,833. That's 17th out of 30, for the record.

Cool, keep going. Would love to see Philly and New York out of the playoffs.

I already stated it was offhand. Really, stop getting offended over every little criticism on the Rays especially when you take shots at big market teams like the Yankees all of the time.

Anyway, our season comes down to Burnett. I believe. It's too bad that both Texiera and Rodriguez aren't doing too well hitting the ball though. Jeter is having trouble as well.

Haha I would laugh if that happened, I think then the chances of Prince Fielder becoming a free agent would be higher, and I would love it if the cubs signed him if they don't get their starter pitching in the offseason.

They couldn't be any higher than they are now. He won't be a Brewer in 2012.
