just woke up my Cryogonal a few minutes ago and brought home a male Snorunt with Weather Ball. also brought home a pearl, Green Shard, Heart Scale and an ether

Quick Question, Can we only get 5th gen Dream world pokemon if we are using BW2?

im using white2 dw and just brought back other generation pokemon to entralink, and normallly catch them like always. i dont think there is limitation there

yes, 5th Gen Pokemon will appear in DW only if you are using B2/W2.

This is because B/W don't have the overworld sprite for most of the 5th Gen Pokemon, if you can send them to B/W then an error might occur when you are in the Entree Forest.

I didn't have any luck today finding DW females from Icy Cave. I ended up just taking back a Voltorb.

I'm not starting a new playthrough any time soon on White, but I was curious about White 2 as well...

I see it as a way to get a Pokemon you may not be able to find in the wild before post-game.

I searched and found no answer, most of the results were on how you get to the Dream World, not when.

in B/W, as soon as you beat the 1st gym & get your c gear from fennel, you can do everything you need to do to access the DW. if you set up your DW username & everything beforehand, all you'll need is your game sync ID, then you're all set.

The Dream World trolled me badly today. I was sent to the Icy Cave but once, despite putting Glalie to sleep. On top of that, I encountered many females, though none of them particularly useful. I took home a female Diglett, since nothing else appealed to me in the slightest.

Tried out the DW once again today. It's so much easier if you know the system. I put a Cubchoo to sleep and hit the icy cave every time. I got tons of good items including several gems, several shards, and several high priced berries. I also had to make a decision between a female swinub and a female sandshrew. I ended up taking the swinub, Mamo FTW! Also a started planting berries again to replace all the ones which were converted into dream points for me. Also: I really love playing the ice sliding game, it's probably my favorite game in the DW world so far. Just the whole strategy and concept make it really appealing for me, I don't really know why.

Visited the Icy Cave a lot today, but the only females are Spheal, Cubone, Whismur, and Cleffa. In the end I picked the Cubone, but then I see that Exploud's DW ability is not Rattled, but Scrappy, which means I should've picked Whismur instead -_-
Also met an Ice Punch Sneasel and a Swinub, but they are male......




Also, I'm guessing that Solrock/Lunatone and Shieldon/Cranidos are exclusives, with Solrock and Shieldon are exclusive to Black, while Lunatone and Cranidos are exclusive to White.

I use Black, and I've met numerous amount of Solrock and Shieldon, but never met any Lunatone or Cranidos.

They're not exclusive. I use Black for DW and I've seen all four of those. Maybe one pair is just harder to find on one version than the other (I definitely see more Solrock than Lunatone). But it's possible to encounter all of them on one cartridge.

Guess I just have to keep looking for it, I definitely much prefer to have a Sheer Force Cranidos rather than a Soundproof Shieldon

met tons of female today! add all them was at spooky manor! they are Mr. Mime, Stunky, Misdreavus, Elgyem, Houndour. but i chose Elgyem instead~

Just finished up my time in the DW. In Black all I did was harvest my berries and plant some more of the new ones. In White, I harvested my berries, planted Leppa, watmel and Belue. Checkd out my DWpals' gardens and shelves. Since I had planted all my Watmels, I took one from someones' shelf and left a red shard. I put a blu shard and a dusk ball on my shelves, before I headed to the island. 6/7 runs were to the Icy Cave, the last run was to the manor were time ran out in the middle of the candle game. Since I really wasn't interested in stunky I quit and headed for the tree to take the male Sheer Force Cranidos with Fire Punch that I befriended earlier. Made it back to my island before the last warning came up, took home a few treasures and signed out. I have now pared down the points difference between my two games to 9000. Black is 60,300 and White is at 51,240. Maybe they will be even before my August birthday and I get my Togokiss.

Nah, you're just unlucky, kinda like me with Poliwag lol. I doubt the contents in the Dream World are affected by the version of the game other than whether it is a sequel version or not. I know I've encountered roughly an equal amount of Sheildon/Cranidos and Lunatone/Solrocks.

Yay got a Grass and Poison Gem today. Just Dragon and Fire to go.

When the DW first opened, I was told that for certain areas to become accessible you needed certain amounts of Dream Points to open them. Is that still true? Because I can get into the Forest, and the Sky and the new areas like the Mansion and the Mountain, but I've never been to the Sparkling Sea. Just wondering if I need to rack up more points, or if I should just try putting a water type to sleep.

Sparkling Sea requires 5,000 points to access. See the DW areas page for point requirements.

i haven't seen one yet, probably not for another week or so, since the berries you need take soooooo long to grow...

I have over 60,000 dream points. Why can't i get an axew, or a kling but i can get the gible? Where are my Unova pokemon? Do i need a copy of B/W 2?
