Tucked in Cryogonal today, as promised:

    Area 1: Icy Cave
None, Sandshrew, Leppa Berry, None, None, Durin Berry, Durin Berry, None, None
    Total: Items 3 Pokemon 1

    Area 2: Icy Cave
None, Fighting Gem, None, None, None, Shuckle, None, Sandshrew, None
    Total: Items 1 Pokemon 2

    Area 3: Icy Cave
None, None, None, Cleffa, Durin Berry, Watmel Berry, Lunatone, Watmel Berry, Swinub, Heart Scale
    Total: Items 4 Pokemon 3

    Area 4: Icy Cave
None, Lunatone, None, None, Sneasel, None, None, Spheal, Ice Gem, Shuckle
    Total: Items 1 Pokemon 4

    Area 5: Icy Cave
None, Nosepass, Belue Berry, Snorunt, None, Red Shard, None, Normal Gem, Shieldon, None
    Total: Items 3 Pokemon 3

    Area 6: Icy Cave
None, None, None, Snover, None, Rock Gem, Dusk Ball, Belue Berry, Pass Orb, Durin Berry
    Total: Items 5 Pokemon 1

    Area 7: Icy Cave
    Dried Up

Again, a mix of results. The total results for Cryogonal x Icy Cave runs are now 5/20/4 (runs following the trend, runs that are average and follow no trend, runs that follow the opposite of the trend). The numbers still show the vast majority of runs follow no trend and perform averagely with a couple being better and a couple being worse which is to be expected.

The results for the bereftness/bountifullness is 24 average runs (5-7 items/pokemon encountered) and only 5 less bountiful runs (4 or fewer items/pokemon encountered) so I don't think that really shows any bereftness trend either.

Although there are fewer results for Vanilluxe the results are quite clearly different. Of 9 encounters 8 followed the trend and 1 was average. Also of 9 encounters 4 were 'more bereft' which is nearly half.

So I think it is clear that for whatever reason, some pokemon follow the trend and some do not. I'm just gonna go ahead and quote this from earlier though.

However, none of the people who proposed said trend seem to be contributing so I'm not really seeing the point anymore...if the results stay the same tomorrow (THEY DID) then I'm going to stop. I'll just call it as 'there appears to be a difference with some pokemon but not with others, however, as of are yet we are unsure which pokemon produce poor and good results and why'. If people want to help find out what causes the difference I might start up again but if they don't they should be careful about saying that 'there is obviously a trend' as I feel I have proved that that isn't always the case.

Yeah, seems like the only ones posting their result regularly is me, Chimecho, and you.
I don't even see Sasaki again in here lately, even though she's the one that's more adamant about Icy Cave having low encounter rate.

By the way, Chimecho on the last page posted one result post that includes 2 visits in a row to the Icy Cave with no Pokemon found.

And I don't know if you missed it or not, but two days ago I posted my result with Cryogonal.

That Sandshrew is the first Sandshrew I met in DW, and it's female
The Snorunt is female too, finally I found one that's female, I kept finding male Snorunt.....

No special move on both of them sadly, so I didn't take either of them
The Snorunt one is the most annoying from the two, since I actually got 43000 points on the minigame, which should gave me enough chance for Water Pulse.
I took the Onix instead, which is female AND has Rock Climb.

It takes THREE visits to the Icy Cave to be able to match ONE visit to the Sea, and both Sea visits always yield more Pokemon than any of the Icy Cave visits.

But then again, this is the first time I got 7 Pokemon from a single visit.

This is going to be my last post of results. I really don't believe there's a notable trend. Sometimes you may get a decent amount of Pokemon, and sometimes you may get barely any at all.

Durin Berry, Snorunt, Nosepass, empty, empty, empty, Snover, Durin Berry, Onix

Not to mention The_Eleventh, he was even more adamant. Stating it as fact even. He was the reason why I decided to do this. He never repsonded again after my initial post so not much point for me to continue posting results.

Well, the part about the updated DW having the type gimmick is already common knowledge. People here on Serebii and people on the Smogon forums having been conducting tests ever since the new DW came out to find out which types bring you where. Psychic Politoed and I have been compiling the results of these tests and running our own to confirm them. I think it's pretty obvious that most of our results are correct; I mean, if you look a few posts up at Doodlecloud's last DW run, he tucked in Cryogonal, a pure Ice-type, and went to the Icy Cave seven times. Obviously Ice brings you to the Icy Cave.

Results are always subject to change, though - if you feel that some of our results are wrong, feel free to tuck in a Pokemon of pure typing (i.e., only Fire, only Electric, etc.) and post the results here so we can keep the list updated.

I just finished my Japanese Dream World session. I visited my house after tucking in a Pokemon, and I harvested my berries. I decided to visit the Island of Dreams after taking care of that, and I was sent to the Spooky Manor, Icy Cave and Rugged Mountain areas. I befriended 10 Pokemon in total, and I chose to keep a Lunatone. I headed back to my house after that, and I bought a new doll and I also redecorated a bit before leaving to search through other people's Share Shelves for items. I logged out after that.

Yeah, I did miss that one. Poor results for Chimecho, AMAZING results for the Sparkling Sea though! I've only ever had that many encounters once before I think, and that was actually an Icy Cave run. Think it was more 4/5 than 2/7 item/pokemon-wise though.

In any case, I guess that proves that, although there does seem to be some kind of difference between my Cryogonal and Vanilluxe visits, it can't be the actual Pokemon making the difference, it must be some of it's attributes or something....or possibly the relationship between pokemon and trainer (like if your id matches its stats or something stupid and confusing like that). In any case, I may come back and do some more research at some point, but for now I want to fill up my Pokedex and I've still got a couple of Pokemon from each area that I need to befriend. : )

    POKEMON GL HELP!!!

I've got a problem, I haven't played GL for a while. I left my Celebi in there before the "construction". After that, I tried to login but my I forgot my username. So I did some of this and some of that and they emailed me saying my username is "JoshuaMunoz2". I was relieved but then when I try to login, it redirects me to the signup page! I tried to get my Celebi out of bed and tried to tuck in another Pokemon. But still, the same problem. Please, I really want to login to the DW. HELP!

VMs or PMs are recommended because I don't really go to this forum.

After you befriend the Pokemon at the Tree of Dreams, it will appear on your Friend Board at your house. If it doesn't, then you did something wrong. If you want to take any items back with you, click on the Treasure Chest in your house and choose how many of which items you want. Then, when you log out of the DW, click on "Quit and Ready to Wake Up". It will then prompt you to agree if the Pokemon and items you chose are the correct ones. Say "OK" if they are, and then log out of the DW on your computer, going back to the home page of pokemon-gl.com.

Now go back to your DS and select "Online" from the C-Gear and log back into the Game Sync. It should ask you if you want to wake up your Pokemon. Say yes. After a couple of minutes, your Pokemon will wake up. Go back to the original C-Gear screen and select "Wireless" and then "Entralink" while you are outside in the game world. You will warp to the Entralink. Walk north and you will see a little boy and a girl standing outside of a forest you can walk into. If you took any items back with you, the boy will give them to you. Enter the forest and you should see the sprite of the Pokemon you took back with you. Talk to it and the game will say [Pokemon] looks like it wants to join your party!" Say "Yes" and you will enter a battle with the Pokemon. It will be on level 10. You can throw a ball at it, so do so. The game automatically offers you a Dream Ball (which I like to use for aesthetic purposes), but you can use any ball you want. All balls have a 100% catch rate here. So catch it in whatever you want and it will either be put into your party if you have fewer than six Pokemon with you, or it will be put in one of your PC boxes.

And that's all you have to do!

EDIT: Oh, and keep in mind that you can SR for natures and IVs in the Entralink. Have an empty slot in your party, and save before you warp. Then catch the Pokemon in the Entralink and check its nature/IVs. If it's not the one you want, soft reset and try again until you get it.

Oh, it's so easy!! (sarcasm). I'll try that tomorrow, as I wasted my today's chance to get it, thanks for the help, I'll try my best to understand how it works. Basically, I have to do things both on my PC and on my DS, I didn't understand that.
Thanks again, I'll post again if there are troubles!

No, all Entralink Pokemon have a shiny lock on them. But you can take your DW females and breed them with something from their egg group that isn't a Ditto and MM for DW shinies.

Yesterday's Japanese Dream World session was interesting, mostly because I encountered some glitches that I thought were gone for good. After tucking in a Pokemon, I visited the Island of Dreams where I befriended 12 Pokemon from various areas. I decided to keep a Mankey, and then I returned to my house. After doing a little shopping from the Dream furniture catalog, I harvested berries and planted others. I also visited other people's houses, and I looked through Share Shelves and watered dried-out berries.

lol, so we can put the dolls on the bathtub?

Kinda odd, since I always thought the dolls are soft feathery plush dolls, not rubber ones like the extremely popular yellow ducky.

Anyway, today I got the green music note emote BEFORE I even go to the dream island, thanks to 2 dream pal request, both having gardens full of plants that needs watering

Finally found a Heat Rock and thus completing my "one of every item" task in the Icy Cave. Now to move onto the other worlds.

In my non-prime account, I just watered berries.

Hello. I just like to ask you something. You see, I'm looking for a way to got to Sparkling Sea at will. You see, I'm looking for a Dratini who have Marvel Scale ability. I went to the Island of Dreams, and I've been enter random places. The question is, how can I go to Sparkling Sea at will? I've even got 18790 points which is should be more than 10,000. Is there's a problem with it?
I am here to help others to solve their problem, and I'm also the big fan of Kissshipping.

Tuck in a pure Water-type, such as Poliwag, Basculin, or Magikarp. A pure Water-type will take you to the Sea something like 80% of the time, but there is no way to make sure that you get to the Sea every single time you cross the Bridge to the Island of Dreams.
