Gengar cannot learn Nasty Plot, and Dream eater is a poor move, try this

    Gengar @ Life Orb
    Timid/Levitate
    252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
    ~ Shadow Ball
    ~ Thunderbolt
    ~ HP Ice/Energy Ball
    ~ Sludge Bomb/Explosion/HP Fire

    Evolve magmar if you can.

    Magmortar
    Modest
    -Flamethrower
    -Thunder Bolt
    -Psychic
    -Focus Blast

    Gyrados
    Adamant
    -Dragon Dance
    -Waterfall
    -Earthquake
    -Stone Edge / Rock Slide

If you can't or don't wanna rebreed for dragon dance, then replace it
    with ice fang or return

Dragon Dance isn't an egg move on Gyarados, it is on Feraligatr. imo Waterfall/DD/EQ/Ice Fang or Return is better in-game, but whatever.

Unfortunately no, it does not work like that Roxas, they have the same odds as normal.

Well, there's not actually a difference in whether Gyarardos is shiny or not, aside from that it looks cooler. And since this is an in-game team, I'll go ahead and tell you that my Meganium's moveset is Frenzy Plant, Energy Ball, Body Slam, and Earthquake. Earthquake hits Fire types hard, Body Slam is a good paralyzing move (though if you're willing to rebreed, I'd replace this with Ancientpower), Energy Ball is standard stab attack, and Frenzy Plant is your big attack for when you're low on health and Overgrow is activated and you need to finish your opponent in one move. Mine's always worked out like that, but these guys know what they're talking about, so listen to them too.
