Salamence owns in battle. My top favorites are probably Salamence, Metagross, Blaziken, Sceptile, Swampert, Ludicolo, Rayquaza, the Regi trio, (Mostly for their catchy theme) and Gardevoir.

Mightyena hands down. I love it so much. I don't know why exactly though... maybe because it was the first pokemon I ever caught in the games since the first cartridge Pokemon game that I owned was Sapphire.

Sceptile, Blaziken, Flygon, Gardevoir, Tropius, Glalie, Metagross, Milotic, Salamence, Altaria, Latios, Latias and Wailord all top it for me. Sapphire was the first pokemon game I ever played, and these pokemon kickstarted my obsession for these games.

For me it's quite easy: Gardevoir.
It's my favorite and it also has a great movepool and packs quite a punch in battle.
Elf needs food badly
Seviper is one of the best, in my opinion. If you're playing any 3rd gen game with Seviper in it (Which is easy, just don't play Ruby) Seviper makes for a brilliant in-game sweeping thing.
Aside from that, it's also brilliantly designed. Who wouldn't like a giant snake with a sword for a tail?
Creating sentience is simple. Accepting it, however, is harder than it looks.
Bringing the Thunder
I don't really like as many of Hoenn's Pokemon as I do other generations, but I really like Salamence.

What?
IMO the best über Pokémon is Rayquaza, as it has awesome offences and speed, while the best non-über Pokémon is either Salamence or Metagross.
