I think they just need to patch up the net code, cause this lag is retarded. I have never 1 bar-ed in so many games before, although I probably would have in BO if I played more. Plus, the lag itself is bad, I mean, it was beneficial in mw2 sometimes but now it's just bad.

Started playing MW3 multiplayer for the first time last week on xbox live. I never owned BO so I'm basing most of my judgements off of MW2 (for PC).
Most surprising is the new kilstreak system. Definitely helps out those that have trouble sustaining killstreaks (to put it politely). Also a s#!tton of EMPs, there's pretty much one every game now. I never saw that coming.
Still noobish with the maps and trying to figure out all the camping spots, major traffic areas, secret passageways, etc. Dome, Resistance, Hardhat, Lockdown, and Mission have been good to me. Got me wondering what maps from 2 they'll eventually release.
Trying to find out which guns I like. Unlocked the ACR recently, an old fav of mine. Working well with the ACOG sight. Also I've taken the Riot Shield for a spin (I usually play objective-based games like Domination and HQ Pro); pairs well with Hardline Pro since you get plenty of assists.

i dont use assault a lot of the time now because of all the emps. its really annoying when you get a strafe run (not that any uses that) and they emp it. i am trying to use specialist more now

I usually use assault but I like specialist and support (but really stealth bomber wtf)
Good combo for specialist would be start off with SoH assassin stalker put hardline dead silence scavenger
Immune to emp and cuav
Get more ammo
Move silent
No fall damage
And you get the last 2 quick with hardline on

The only thing that still bugs me about MW3 is I still get those random times when I'm already shooting someone and they turn and kill me. Also, close to hitting 4th prestige. This prestige went by pretty quick. What prestige are you all? Also, anyone planning on resetting all stats when they hit 10th prestige?

1st, level 39. I do plan on going to tenth, but judging by how little I enjoy and play this game, that probably won't be until after the 2012 COD game is out.

Same here, I've been mostly playing Skyrim and Arkham City, but it's difficult for me to avoid COD's attractive lure and I still play it once in a while.

Both treyarch and IW have their ups and downs
IW matches seem to always flow well for me
But treyarch learn from mistakes,especially vahn and listen to community
I don't take sides on which company is better but I will say for all the problems BO has
They probably taken into account and improved for the next game

I felt so cool today! I went 58-3. I got 3 AC130s but I didn't get to actually completely use the 3rd one because the game ended.
And support killstreaks are pretty much awesome. I rep the Advanced UAV, Stealth Bomber, and Juggurnaut. Its so fun!

^I see people get multi kills with Stealth Bombers, but then when I use them, even when I got Advanced UAV up, I get two kills at most.
Hopefully the same can be said for the next IW game.
