I don't like it. Then again I've never really liked CoD. It's too realistic (and unrealistic at the same time, paradox much?).

I know what you mean. I only play it because a lot of my friends play it so it's fun to put a knife in their head.

Other games are much more intense when it comes to fights, but CoD requires you to shoot near-real people. I don't know why, but it just doesn't appeal to me in the least.

I dont have black ops yet, not getting it until christmas, but what are your guys' early impressions? I hope it doesn't get ruined like MW2 did by lack of balance and that but I see theres no nukes, commando, OMA, stopping power, UMP45 (although something will replace it sure enough), and shotgun/ MP secondaries. It seems like the campaign is pretty kickass too. I guess if it doesnt appeal to me I can go back to Halo Reach (<3), but I have pretty high hopes for this game and hope it wont disappoint.

im still getting used to no commando (died quite a few times because i thought i had it), but that aint a big deal.

overall, im still not sold on Black ops and keep wanting to head back over to MW2.

also there is still tons of spawn kills and corner campers, if that matters in your decision.

i consider it a good thing. many people play those games for the violence, that's not the point behind cod.

Ahh that sucks, MP5K was my gun of choice in mw2 but I always like to use the less popular guns, guess I'll use something else instead, is the scorpion in this game?

Yeah those corner campers are annoying, but the RCXD seems to be a great way to counter that by blowing up the enemy with relative ease. Spawn kills were in MW2 too, but these ones hopefully will be at least a little improved. I did like MW2 a lot, but it was just so frustrating....

I've noticed people saying there isn't as much camping in blops, but I'm sure there will be soon enough, I think it's just that people are running around now getting a feel for the maps and finding possible camping spots, remember the plane in terminal? or the house in estate? Or maybe the rock glitch in fuel? Those were the worst and I'm sure we'll have campers on our hand soon enough.

I did found a little bug on the game, but I can't point out what it is. Also when I get an trophy/achievement, the game freezes sometimes x.x

I Hope we get campers in the game soon....it'll give me an idea of where to camp

i did find one good spot in jungle though, its on a high cliff and the only way up is a latter. you can just set one claymore and be good to go.

if i wanted to get spawn killed i would stayed in MW2 (nuketown gets it the worst)

i also cant camp as well as i did in MW2 which is why i go 12-22 or 22-23 all the time.

Shoulda kept the money and bought kirbys epic yarn and saved the other 10$ for the FO: NV DLC that i heard thier already planning

Apparently, the Wii version of Black Ops is made by the same group that handled CoD:MW Reflex edition. Which is a good thing. Which means that it's just a lower resolution port with some of the Special Effects removed. Roughly the same game, but on a somewhat lower scale.

imo cod4 is the best closely followed by cod1. big red one (PS2) was nice aswell though but it lacked soundtrack. i'm still not sure if that's normal or some damn glitch just i had.

It is just you, as we've never talked about any other COD game besides MW2, until now.
I started with MW1, only played campaign, got MW2, played campaign and multiplayer, then eventually got into MW1's multiplayer. I bought W@W shortly after.

Everything, really. Except those hardcore puzzle games. Those are just plain boring.

Or if you're talking about shooters: mostly the completely unrealistic stuff like Halo 'n ****. I can enjoy some realism at times, but not much. I'll play (something like) CoD for an hour and then go back to playing (something like) Halo, pretty much.

3 days in and i still get the feeling that this is not as fun as MW2 was/still is.
