That's actually kind of interesting. I don't know what this says about Bianca's chances in the League, but it just might maybe help her. She may do better in the League than we thought after all.

Apparently Bianca will be much stronger in Donamite than before since she will have Emboar and she will also beat Trip's Conceldurr. In my opinion it's a great way to show has much Bianca has grown by beating Trip. And I hope she beats Georgia too.

It's why me and acedetective are unsure on whether Fantinas first battle counted.

Well, if Gardenia's doesn't count, I think Fantina doesn't as well.

But I didn't see any of those first battles (only the revenges) and read some descriptions/infos so I'm not really sure.

It's more likely that Iris will get a rematch with Drayden once they get to Opelucid City. Ash will then face off with Drayden, maybe lose and then have a rematch and win.

I can see ash and iris facing off at opelucid to determine who faces drayden first. its a way to have ash face both there.

Emboar vs Bisharp - Very close match, show's off Bisharp's power by overcoming double disadvantage, as well as Bianca's need to further develop as a trainer now that she has powerful pokemon.
Throh vs Sawk - Awesome combat match, I predict will be my favourite of the entire BW series. Throh narrowly winning.

Bisharp vs Dewott - Burgundy gets cocky due to getting futher than Cilan, after providing a bad tasting, she is swiftly beaten. Forcing her to rethink her current methods.
Scraggy vs Throh - I honestly couldn't think of a fesible way for Ash to reach the finals, so the next best thing would be to lose to the eventual winner.

Bisharp vs Throh - Throh's trainer asserts himself as a powerful trainer and hopefully a league rival for Ash.

Well, if he indeed loses I'd say it's pretty interesting his last battles were between a draw and two losses.

It wasn't full out stated but using all we know:
Trip and Bianca will battle
Bianca will use Emboar
Emboar is in a title facing against Bisharp(Who belongs to Georgia)

With that we can safely assume Bianca beats Trip and advances. The only things that can happen to have things not like that would be:
-Trip is disqualified
-Trip forfeits
-The loser advances and not the winner
-Some other unlikely ridiculous thing

That's all unlikely and would be rather ridiculous(Although Trip being disqualified could be interesting, perhaps he's starting to lose his way and turn bad or something, resorting to cheating to win or something, I doubt the writers would do it though). So Bianca will most likely beat Trip.
