Didn't he lost to Gardenia as well in some sort of unofficial battle? I didn't watch this part of DP but I remember reading something like this had happened.

Yeah he lost to Gardenia in an unofficial match, that's why I don't count it.

It's why me and acedetective are unsure on whether Fantinas first battle counted.

As I figure, with new info on the tournament comes changes to my original prediction...a lot of changes.

Since it seems it's only one Pokemon per trainer, I guess no Triple Battle or Rotation Battle, hopefully the next one or the league will have them.

Seismitoad vs Sawk-Close battle but Sawk wins. Likely the case.

The one thing I like about these tournaments is you can't really predict what will happen, I mean if we have Georgia vs Bianca, who knows what battles we'll get, I can see this going so many different ways.

At first I wanted Iris vs Georiga in the finals for some development, but with Masaomi coming into the picture acting all Tobiasy...he messed that up for me. I'm 100% certain Masaomi will be in the finals against someone, and I think Bianca would be best, gives her some wins and shows her improvement.

Trip needs a full battle or something to show his stuff, he sucks at one on one haha. Watch the next tournament, he wins it.

It also seems like the tournament characters could be more interesting and threaten this time around. I really enjoy seeing the odd match ups, there like "What ifs" to me. I would like Scraggy to do good too, just not sure, as I said I can things going so many different ways, but I would like to see some of the rival characters going far to make them come off as more as a threat. I suppose Ash can battle Stephan instead in the second round and win, then lose in the third round, that gives Scraggy two wins and doesn't come off as being ridiculous for it to win the whole thing for him or anything like that.

It's more likely that Iris will get a rematch with Drayden once they get to Opelucid City. Ash will then face off with Drayden, maybe lose and then have a rematch and win.

I can see ash and iris facing off at opelucid to determine who faces drayden first. its a way to have ash face both there.
