No for the appearance of Pikachu. Im okay with Dewott but Pikachu already stared once, so I only wanna see it in the 8 gym. I want Unfezant, Dewott, Tepig here. I know you are all probably against Tepig, but between Snivy (which would have 3 gyms in a row then), scraggy (baby + type disadvantage, even though ash doesnt care about it, still think it will be tepig).

I don't like Pikachu being the fall guy in both these battles. I'd say he may get a tie in the flying gym or a tie in the last one. I don't see him falling in both. He already was the fall guy in the first gym. Blah!

Still counts for me.

Say, Drayden has ordered Ash to fight Iris in the Opelucid Gym in order to be granted permission to challenge him. Every pokemon that Ash uses against Iris would therefore be used in his gymchallenge. Prerequicites included.

If Ash fought Skyla with:
- Pikachu
- Boldore
- Tranquill
And lost, and rematched with:
- Snivy
- Boldore
- Unfezant
And won..

Pikachu would've still contributed as a scout in learning how Skyla battles, and it might not have been the cause for the loss in the first place. Would be sad to see that effort go unattended.

You're right. Tranquil does need two wins badly. Haven't seen it battle is ages. It would make sense and it would also make sense for Ash to use Pikachu too. But that doesn't mean it has to win.

They made changes to Cilan, Chili, Cress, Lenora, and Elesa's teams. I don't think the writers would have that much of a problem making a minor change like the gender of a Pokemon, and I originally intended for Skyla's Unfezant to be male during my prediction too.

The writers should just replace it with Twister or Iron Tail. Emolga and Minccino can still use Attract and Snivy can move on with her life.

If anything Leaf Blade can be replaced with Aerial Ace. No need for 3 grass moves. Keeps Attract.

After seeing Pokémon toys which showed Gurdurr, Unfezant & Jellicent, I think we might see Trip soon with him battling Ash. Hopefully it's a 6 on 6 battle. Here's how I think it could go down then:

Obviously I could be very far off from what could happen (if it does happen), though I would like to see Trio use Unfezant, Jellicent & Gurdurr, with Ash using Boldore, Tranquill and, I guess, Pikachu. We could have rivalries between Tranquill & Unfezant develop as well as talk between Boldore & Gurdurr getting traded.
