Oh man. Rap is so not my thing. I'll do my best to rate your song based on proper judgement and not bias though.

The lyrics are pretty good for a rap song. They actually have meaning and he's clearly nararrating a story. 8/10

The beat gets a little repetitive and boring. I know they're different songs and everything, but look at not afraid by Eminem. That song has a pretty large range in melody which keeps the listener in tuned with the song. 5/10

Then there's vocals. He didn't really display his talent as a rapper because not even that many of the words rhymed, and he was rapping at a pretty slow speed compared to most rap songs. You definitley don't get to hear what he's capable of. 5/10

Overall 6/10.

Not bad, nit bad. Folksy, I like. I also enjoy the naturalistic tone of the lyrics. It doesn't really jump out with any hooks or crazy riffs, but its very simplistic, and it fits with this song.

I like that! It almost has a sort of psychedelic feel to it. It's definitley good car cruising music. The lyrics are easy to understand and you don't have really cryptic messages in the song where you have to go and research to figure out what the hell they're talking about. 7/10

I'm not sure how I feel about this song. I'm loving the dark ambience to the song, because I've always been a sucker for music that has a dark and ominous feel to it. I think I'm having an issue with the way she sings though. It's nice to have breaks in a song for those rhythmic coos, but she keeps it up for a bit too long in my opinion. Sort of a bad comparison, but take Florence for example. I love a lot of her music, but sometimes she crosses the line from singing and just starts outright wailing like a banshee.

I give it a 6/10. The feel of the music is pretty much right up my alley, but the lack of melodic diversity really brought it down.

Musically, I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the singer, which ruins a song most of the time. She's not bad, by any means. I just find it hard to enjoy most female singers. Its not that they're untalented, they're just not my thing.

Sonic Youth - Hey Joni

This music's construction is fascinating. For one, the guitars are tuned in an insanely abstract manner, and they're use of natural harmonics as a filler is incredible.

Well, they're the fucking beatles man. You can't go wrong. Happy, uplifting tune that puts you in a good mood. Meaningful, thoughtful lyrics. Fantastic voice.

This is so chill. The sounds are so exotic and the entire song kinda feels like one big mushroom trip, haha. The only part of the song I didn't like the was very beginning, that guitar was a not necessarily too harsh, but uh, rustic? Is that the word? It just wasn't pleasant to the ears. Articulating things is always such a pain.

Not bad, not bad. Not really my type of music, but I could see some real promise in it. Its got a good flow, the singer is pretty good, and the construction is interesting. Overall, I wouldn't put this on my iPod, but I wouldn't turn it off if it started playing on the radio.

This one I'll leave a surprise.

I've been a huge fan of Alice Cooper since time immemorial, ha! His voice is so smooth in this song, and it really complements the guitar. Everything flows smooth and easy, there's no sounds that appear out of place or non harmonius.
