I really like the sound. Not a fan of the lyrical content, though. Seemed kinda stereotypical for an Irish group to sing about a pub. lol But it wasn't a waste of my time. 6.5/10

ITS THAT GYPSY BAND AGAIN! I seem to like their stuff at first and then not want to hear it more than once more. I love the style and the singer and all the instruments, but it just doesn't have much re-listenability to me. I don't know what to say - I love it but I feel like I won't soon in the future. For now, 9/10. Loved it.

All right, here's the thing with me and modest mouse. I love their early work. Its some of the greatest music I know and inspires a lot of my own writing. But, for some reason, I don't find their newer stuff as interesting or as good as their older stuff. I don't know what it is, but there's something just amazing about The Lonesome Crowded West, The Fruit That Ate Itself, and Sad Sappy Sucker. The days of experimentation, long jam sessions, and overall badassery. This isn't too bad, hence the higher score, but compare a song like Satellite Skin to Lounge (Closing Time), the latter wins every time.

Yes, just...freakin' yes. Brock's fun wordplay and simplistic singing style and guitar riff (its basically just two chords) mixed with Jeremiah Green's explosive and incredibly talented drumming skills makes this one helluva song! Kudos, sir/madam.
