So I started designing Fakemon and I'll be using this topic to post them. Be sure to comment and say which ones you like or might chose! I'll be post (at the very least) one set a week but I'm hoping for more than that at the moment.

The Firefly Pokemon
Fire
"Magmoth's glowing orb-like tail is created using internal flames. In folklore, people used to say fairies used to light up dark woods at night. Now we know that most of these stories came from Magmoth swarms."

005 - Buzzurn
The Firefly Pokemon
Fire / Bug
"Sometimes when large numbers of Buzzurns gather, it is said their light can be seen from space."

006 - Buganaut
The Tank Bug Pokemon
Fire / Bug
"Buganaut creates fire using volcanic patches on it's back, encased in a solid, shell-like dome. It's two chimneys can be used to shoot fire. Sometimes it has said to cause forest fires when attacked."

007 - Bobard
The Puddle Duck Pokemon
Water
"Bobard is incredibly buoyant - it is physically impossible for it\'s whole body to go under the surface of water. Its feathers can trap water droplets which it collects to use in its water attacks."

008 - Billard
The Umbrella Duck Pokemon
Water
"Billard's umbrella-like head crest absorbs water. Billards can often be seen standing perfectly still on top of buildings during rain storms."

009 - Umbrillard
The Umbrella Duck Pokemon
Water / Flying
"Umbrillard is said to be able to move the rain clouds of the world to fit its need. Trainers with Umbrillards often complain about having bad luck with the weather."

Thanks. They're actually both based on Kaiju (Japanese movie monsters)... Godzilla and King Ghidorah.

That means a lot. I am quite proud of my starters... I just wanna try and keep it up while drawing the boring bird and normal types early on.

You, my good sir are a great artist, I especially like, what I believe is a Viva Pinata inspiration for the pokemon, considering the art style is very similar to any VP creature.

Non of it's really inspired by Viva Pinata - I know of the game but I've never played it. :P But I know what you mean.

I can't decide which Pokemon to draw next... I've got a list of sketches I wanna draw proper. Same a pokemon TYPE and I'll choose one.

I really like the concepts behind your two box legendaries - I didn't know how time and space would work with Palkia and Dialga already existing, but that idea is pretty good. I would go with Bobard as my starter. Nice work

You'd think their evolving stats would be based on their gender not when they we trained.

Clukoon isn't any gender. It's still... at it's egg stage and is still developing. It choses its gender when it evolves.
