Right since a lot of people wanted a voting system early on in this thread so why not let people vote for a pokemon once a month/ every fourth week.

Because everyone would choose the strong pokemon and later on we'd only have weak ones left.

Thats why we do it Once a month!

That would mean that even if strong pokemon where picked only 12 would be picked by the forum members a year. And we could have a differant tier every month like Uber,OU,UU,Uber,OU,UU ect.

Well randomization is pretty much the only decent way of spreading things out.

But yeah, tier rotation might be good.

Tiers are fickle, however. You might as well randomize it because there's no guarantee a poke will stay in that tier. Plus, Serebii doesn't make its own tiers.

Why do the Garchomp and Excadrill POTWs still mention OU?
Why do we not do Pre-Evo corner anymore?

Both of their POTWs were before they got banned.

For the later, IDK , but probably since there haven't been many viable pre-evos like Scyter in a while.

Are we still doing the pre-evo corner? Also, if, say hypothetically, charizard gets chosen and no charmander or charmeleon movesets were compiles, will they be LOST FOREVER?

Pre-evolution corners are only really viable when the pre-evolution is different in strategy to the evolution. Otherwise all you have is a weaker version of the evolution

I like the RNG as the good thing is what will be the featured POTW. Voting for a pokemon for the POTW is just bad.

im going to say i will be agreeing with Blue Harvest some of the pre-evos are better battlers even look at dusclops which is a better wall than duscnoir

Now, I don't have an issue with the selection process. What I do have an issue with is Serebii going against it just because he claims we haven't covered anything good in weeks. And we were about to do Weezing. Weezing! Weezing's good!'

(OK, my main problem concerns the fact that it's Weezing that was skipped over, but my point is still valid)

We had like 5 straight weeks planned of medicore Pokémon. Don't worry, I slotted Weezing in for the next batch I RNG
