My opinion on this whole matter about the whole thinking that Link is Zelda and Zelda is link.



I mean that one of those two famous Zelda's is actually the actor Robin Williams' daughter. I think that we all know who in the world Robin Williams is now do we ? But hey , You could actually name Link whatever you want in all the games in the series to date. I , in fact , name Link after myself since that is what I do in the Pokemon games.

Anyway, you name Link, so they can't really name the game after a character who's name changes. Zelda on the other hand is also always there, always important, and always called the same thing.

You don't walk into a 3,800-post thread about one of the gaming medium's most prolific franchises and ask "hey guys are these any good?". You don't. You don't, for two reasons.

One can best be explained with this example: if you were to walk into a dog show and ask aloud for all to hear, "hey, are dogs any good?", what manner of answer do you imagine you'd get? The thread is titled "Zelda games discussion" - you can figure out the comparison from here.

Two is simply that honestly, it's sort of lazy and clueless. As said, this is one of the most prolific series of games in the medium, second in Nintendo's stable only to a mustachioed plumber. Point being, these games are not obscure, they're not hidden. If you want to know whether any of them are any good or not, read back in the thread some, research the games themselves, look for game footage and reviews online; there are hundreds of better ways to answer the question, and not just answer the question, but answer it for yourself and answer it to your own satisfaction, which should be the goal of asking any question.

Again, you can take this to heart and go do this stuff, you can not, it doesn't really matter to me. The point is that there is another way - nay, there's always another way, a better way - to answer a question as vague and as general as that about a topic as wide-reaching and prolific as this than to simply walk in and go "spoonfeed me an answer".

I think that the funniest quote in Skyward Swod was "ZINGA-DINGDING". That quote actually comes from the Thunder Dragon whenever you cure of him of his whatever disease that is like a cold. Better not tell that quote to my friend that swats down any thing I have to say since that is a "spoiler". Though that quote just struck me funny since it just sounds so ridiculous.

Now that about if the series is any good , It is for sure. It's been like that for almost 26 years when the first game in the series (released) came out. I would recoment to play Skyward Sword first since that is the first game in the series chronologically. That and also that the other games would make better sense because of it being more clearly how Ganon came to be.

I agree. I have a ton of items from my regular file, so I can upgrade most of my items without too much of a hassle. It's also nice how when you get the Master Sword, all you need to do is raise your sword to the sky and it will be instantly charged for a Skyward Sword Strike and the Goddess Sword has the same charge time & distance as the Master Sword.
