this is more of a question about hacks.
would file trade as the only form of trading you can do, mean that a pokemon is hacked?

no not really. The .pkm file would be the information of the pokemon without the GUI to display it. As long as the pokemon was legit then the file is legit as well. Also, as long as the file goes from one game to another with no stops in between (like pokegen) then it is still the same pokemon as the legit generated pokemon from the game cart and transferring the file is much like a trade (on the the site i use it is a trade because i have evolved certain pokemon this way that require trading). Many people extract .pkm files and save the pokemon to flash drives and computers as oppose to the limited space in the box, but there is no way to know who does this or with what pokemon as the information is the same. This is also good in case you ever wash your game as i have seen other do (empty your pockets before throwing the pants in the hamper!)

What happened: I've had troubles dealing with Hades in the past by means of never getting to complete a trade due to the fact that they continually changed their wants, but I decided to give them and iceberg a chance when they opened a shop. From their shop, I traded them for 5 pokemon, 2 of which I am very displeased with.

Wish Bagon: Reason; HACK. I checked this pokemon at Pokecheck and it didn't fly, but I know they have isues with gen 3 events sometimes, so I had the .pkm file for it dismantled by DannyB and this was the conclusion:

"Gah I don't understand what pokecheck means with its PIDs, I wish it'd just list them like legal.exe did. I morphed the pokemon back into a gen 4 file to check it (just put its PID/ID/SID/IVs etc. in and effectively built the pokemon). There's a couple of reasons this is hacked:

1) It's got invalid trash bytes.
2) The PID type is wrong. PCJP03 pokemon should be Common GBA Event [Unrestricted] but this is Uncommon GBA (A-B-D-E). Someone's tried to create this pokemon using the algorithm for PCJP04, which is different.

There's no doubt this bagon is a hack."

PCNY Flygon:

This, while not hacked we believe, is still a disappointment as they listed it misleadingly in their trade shop. They list it as UT and with a different ID number than the one I received. The ID is likely a typo, but this Flygon had been slightly touched, which I did not want and should have been listed as BT or Barely trained/touched.

Basically, they offered and traded me a hacked pokemon and are not running a legitimate or well-run shop. I have also been displeased with how I see Hades behaving and how he has acted within my own shop.

I am sincerely sorry for the Bagon. It was traded to me by another member awhile back, so I have no first hand knowledge of its legitimacy. As stated in my shop, I am currently sifting through all the Pokemon I have, slowly weeding out the hacks. But since I am a student as well as an employee, my spare time is virtually non-existent. I had no intention of trading you a hack, nor will I ever to anyone. If one of the Pokemon I have traded is found to be a hack, it will have been completely apart from my knowledge. I am terribly sorry for this and will, of course, offer you a trade-back/replacement (the choice is yours). It goes without saying that the Bagon will (and has) been removed from the shop.

As for the Flygon, the ID no. error was a typo, and will promptly be fixed. The discrepancy in its trained status was a mistake on my part. I simply looked at its level and compared it with Serebii's Event Database, and thought no more of it. It was rather short-sighted to not check if it had gained any experience. And I do apologize. Again, its status in the shop will be changed and a trade-back/replacement is in order.

As for the various issues with my partner, I think it is clear that he has on several occasions knowingly traded hacks. I was unaware since I did not personally have any of his Pokemon on my games, and I have not been around in the Gen V trade forum for long. I will be disassociating with hades, for I am not a hacker, and I would not like to be associated with one. All of his Pokemon will be removed from my shop.

I am terribly sorry for the trouble I have caused, and hope to not have this happen again. It was not my intention to trade you (or anyone) a hack, and I do hope you will believe me, as well as accept my apology. I urge any member of these forums to alert me if they notice one of my Pokemon is a hack, for it will prevent situations like this, as well as make my job of checking my Pokemon a little easier.

See what I just posted from a VM Hades sent me while I was in class just now. He stated he knew the Bagon was hacked. So yes, there is evidence that he is knowingly trading hacked pokemon, even though the shop they are being distributed from claims no hacks on either end is acceptable.

1. What are you referring to regarding Kevin and his wants list? I have very little idea of what you're talking about and clarity would be nice.

2. You stated explicitly in the VM from earlier that you knew exactly what that Bagon was (hacked). If it is hacked and you know that, then you aren't allowed to distribute it on these forums whatsoever. That is considered scamming and I feel like with this bagon you not only scammed me, but also scammed Iceberg a bit too since they weren't told this either. It is obvious from conversations with them that this was not their intention whatsoever. Yours or not, see what I said in point 2 of the last post. It was not common knowledge that this Bagon was hacked. If I saw that on Kevin's list, I would assume then that he has a calm one and would like different natures considering how many events he has in his collection. It boils down to knowingly trading hacked pokemon, which is not tolerable behavior.

No matter whose Bagon it was, it was traded when one of the shop owners knew it was hacked and Iceberg is pretty clear that they had no idea and you claim to have known of the hack and still never told them or anyone else until it was checked thoroughly.

First of all , Iceberg I'm absolutely sure that those hacks did not come from you as I know your partner was not honest with you at all.

Hades you must realize that plenty of people have been complaining about your event-list which contains a lot of hacked events.

When Target Lucario came out Hades offered one to Kevin24 , Filip , and Brawl. I never thought It was hacked till I confronted you and asked about a Picture of the serial code you used to get Lucario ,or PGL at least. You replied to me later and said you sold the game and I did believe you but when I asked about a PGL and FB pictures you told me you had forgotten your password and ironically after trading your Lucario to us ,you offered a DW Arceus which has the same OT and ID number and quite frankly I knew there must be something sketch and wrong with all that stuff.

Next , You offered BirthDay Audino 2011 set to Filip who believed you until we checked the IVs and the EVs of each. Filip and I were uncomfortable putting those up for trade ,why? When we checked the IVs and the EVs per each we saw that the entire set of yours have the same IV and Ev spreads and this cannot be real Hades considering the fact that each Audino came from a different Pokemon Center over Japan not to mention those were and still quite rare.

In addition , This month I saw you were offering a Flawless Nintendo of Korean Rayquaza which also trigger my canon once more because of the hacking issues you have involved in over the last 4-5 months. Let me tell you something which probably you do not seem to get , Rayquaza was given away in Korea for one day Hades and we never saw any event traders claiming to have a legitimate Flawless one ,and this is because of it was only given away for one day! and it's most likely impossible to find a legitimate Flawless Rayquaza these days. So this leaves us to say you were trying to take advantages from people by offering hacks which is immoral , I must say.

And right after that , I was talking to Vest and then I looked at his shop and I saw you traded with him and like always you scammed more and more people but this time you gave the guy a hacked Shiny Navel Rock Lugia and unlike most greedy Shop owners , Vest draw such a great example in forgiveness and honesty , what did he do? From what I have heard from Vest himself he asked you never to trade Lugia again and let it go! but you actually did not listen to him and funnily enough you posted at his shop requesting a trade for his NoK Mewtwo and provided your event-list including the hacked Lugia , and I honestly do not blame Vest for Blacklisting , and now reporting you for that as It basically means you just ignored his will and continued putting it up for trade which wasn't nice at all.

Hades let's wind the clock back to last Nov maybe? You came to my shop and offered a shiny Zekrom and Element immediately Blacklisted you in our shop for doing so , then Kevin24 had warned you several times not to offer hacks for legitimate Pokemon man ,and now I see you have scammed Kilted and maybe more people?.

Iceberg I ask you to reconsider your decision collaborating with Hades and I'm most certainly sure your shop will grow dramatically. I'm also willing to help you out reorganizing your list.

Hades we all involved in hacking issues to some point and the best thing to do is admitting your fault and make it up for the people you scammed or you will have to pay for what you did.

Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding. I have PM'd a moderator asking them to close my shop (since it is quite messy and rather embarrassing to say the least) and asked to be allowed to open a new one. I truly appreciate your offer to help me reorganize my list, it is tremendously kind. As we speak I am checking all my Pokemon (as well as Hades') starting with my shinies. If you happen to know any of them are hacks off hand, it would be greatly appreciated.

I would also like to thank KiltedTrainer for their kindness, as they have been very understanding.

As for the Bagon, it is mine. But since I had no knowledge of it being hacked, and Hades did (and did not alert me), I hope Hades can see how the blame falls upon him.

Like I said we all invovled in hacking issues in a way and Yes go back 3 pages and you will see. The best thing I did is making it up for people and my issue with Ikhana if that's what you are implying is over ages ago. And I did not win or lose a case against her it was an issue which was settled that's all.

No it's okay since you admitted your fault then there is no harm at all.
Please keep in mind that all Event and Shiny Flawless traders always offer legitimate Pokemon and in return they expect legitimate Pokemon as well. I'm really glad we ended this up this way and hoping to keep it that way.

I stil don't think what happened is right, and I can't guarantee any trust but Iceberg was not in the wrong here and I just don't see why this had to happen. I think you simply need to stop doing what you're doing and be honest.

I've had two trades with Hades, and one pokemon was a hack, and it was his Japanese shiny Navel Rock Lugia. So he scammed me once, and I'm unsure of if I even want a trade-back, at this point. I figured I would post this, if you guys wanted more examples of him scamming. It's obvious he knew it was, if he hadn't known, he wouldn't be offering it. He's easily able to pokecheck pokemon, and I assume he knows how to, and he obviously tries to private is VMs so others can't see how many scams he has made, unless they are added as his friend. Sorry for you all to get scammed, feel bad for you. I hope it gets resolved.

At the very least, Hades, I will say this. I will stay on good terms with Iceberg, but this entire issue has left me with the right mind to say Wolveram and I (As she's been watching this all do gown) will not be trading with you in the future one way or another unless we see perhaps weeks or months away that you've improved your ethics within this forum.
