Default Pokemon White Pre-Elite Four team

This is the team I am planning to use up until I have beaten the Elite Four. I am only casual so I often don't EV train my pokemon. I also don't know what hold items I will be using so all I have is the Pokemon and movesets. Feel free to give any tips that you can

    1. Samurott- Water
    Megahorn/X-Scissor- Bug
    Waterfall- Water
    Ice Beam- Ice
    Revenge- Fighting

    2. Victini- Psychic/Fire
    Blaze Judgement- Fire
    Zen Headbutt- Psychic
    Reversal- Fighting
    Flame Charge- Fire

    3. Zoroark- Dark
    Foul Play- Dark
    Night Slash- Dark
    Flamethrower- Fire
    U-Turn- Bug

    4. Haxorus- Dragon
    Dragon Claw- Dragon
    Dragon Pulse- Dragon
    Swords Dance- Normal

    5. Conkeldur- Fighting
    Little By Little- Normal
    Rock Slide- Rock
    Hammer Arm- Fighting
    Brick Break- Fighting

    6.Excadrill- Ground/Steel
    Earthquake- Ground
    Rock Slide- Rock
    Metal Claw- Steel
    Swords Dance- Normal

    1. Samurott
    Aerial Ace
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Grass Knot
If he's going without Swords Dance, might as well go special. You get even better moves and coverage.

    2. Victini- Psychic/Fire
    Flamethrower
    Psychic
    Thunderbolt
    Energy Ball
Victini's movepool is more Special oriented. I'm no expert on him, but I think this is a good set. It gets really good coverage. Blaze Judgement has only 5 PP, so Flamethrower is better.

    3. Zoroark- Dark
    Nasty Plot
    Dark Pulse/Night Burst
    Focus Blast
    Flamethrower
Nasty Plot is one of Zoroark's main assets. It would be a waste to go physical.

    4. Haxorus- Dragon
    Dragon Dance
    Dragon Claw
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
Dragon Pulse is a special move. It won't benefit from either Swords Dance or Dragon Dance. This is a better set.

    Conkeldurr
    - Mach Punch
    - Drain Punch
    - Payback
    - Bulk Up
I'm not an expert on him, but here's the moveset from the singles sticky. It's basically a tanking moveset. Bulk Up boosts, Drain Punch keeps you healthy, Mach Punch for quick kills, and Payback hits ghosts and psychics.

    6.Excadrill- Ground/Steel
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    X-Scissors/Aerial Ace
    Swords Dance
X-Scissors/Aerial Ace hit Grass Types. Metal Claw doesn't get good coverage.

I say go with these sets except put Air Slash over Aerial Ace on Samurott.

Yes that is a Female Dino Charge Red. It's a FanFic thing

    Lesse

Victini wants Psycho Shock>Psychic to let it go Psuedo-Mixed.

Rock Slide/Stone Edge>Mach Punch to counter Flyings.

^Read the rules, please. I'm not saying that to be a jerk either; we will be able to help you once you make a thread in accordance with our rules here. Btw, welcome!

@Ji: I disagree; I believe Mach Punch should stay. Conkeldurr is pretty slow, and Mach Punch is a godsend on it. BU'd Paybacks should be able to handle most Flyings anyway.

@Monochromatic: Low PP doesn't make a move bad, in all honesty. I'd say Blaze Judgement/Fire Blast > Flamethrower, personally. I agree with Psycho Shock, but I don't agree with Energy Ball and Thunderbolt together. One could and should be replaced with Focus Blast. Which one should depend on your Fire move. Also, physical Zoroark is just fine, and is often overlooked.

Thinking about posting a team in the 5th Gen IGRMT sub-forum? Be sure to read the rules before proceeding. Are you looking to have only one Pokemon rated? Then check out our Single Rate Thread for movesets and help. Thanks!
