Pikachu's back sprite looks ugly in Red, Blue and Yellow. Not to mention his front sprite looked like a happy fat kid at Mcdonalds.

Yeah, Golbats sprite was always pretty creepy.

I always thought that Pidgeots sprite makes him look slightly like he was made of wood.

Haunters sprite always creeped me out, I mean it look at it. It looks might it attack you the second you turn away from it.

Interestingly, all Generation 1 backsprites fit perfectly with Red and Green frontsprites, as backsprites are the same in all Gen 1 games.

I always thought Mew was the weirdest sprite. It just look very deformed and disproportional. o_O

I think that Moltres, Pinsir, Articuno, Venusasur, and Pidgeot all had a very strange sprite for Red, Green, and Blue. They all look so weird.

Moltres look's nothing like that at all
Pinsir has small eyes
Articuno just looks weird
Venusaur I can't even see what that is at all
Pidgeot's sprite only shows it's wing and a little of it's head

The Red/Blue Koffing was the worst. IMO the original Red/Green sprites were better than the Red/Blue sprites overall(Except for Charizard) but the Yellow sprites were a major improvement.
