Well, looks my Mew was hacked then..
Oh well, Mew wasn't ever my favorite Pokemon anyway.

Yeah I kinda got hopeful, but then found out the event never happened... so even if they were SR for the item to get to them was hacked.

Hmm, yeah I did a bit of research and saw some people saying they have shinys from the emerald event, but I'm guessing they are lying or hacked the event item! The recent level 5 Mew release, can that be shiny?

Event pokemon cannot be shiny unless they are programmed to be shiny. I wish the could though as I'd love a shiny Mew.

Thanks so much for your help on the darkrai guys! After further research, I found out mines legit because it came from the Toys R Us giveaway!But Now i got a new problem...

This deoxys i got from the GTS. Everything seems allright at a glance, but soemthings been nagging me. Here are the specifics

OT: Its in Japenese letters? I think, all i know its not in English
OT Gender: (red=female, blue=male) It is blue (so male)
IDno: 50256
Shiny?: No
EV's: (if known) 0- This is the biggest problem i see, it has No EV at all
IV's: (if known)3 hp/13 att/0 def/21 sp att/22 sp def/1 speed
Nature:Quiet
Characteristic: Strongly Defiant
Ability: Pressue
Moves: Taunt, Zap Cannon, Hyper Beam, Psycho Boost

Any other notes?: Worried about this for several reasons. Friends told me that the only deoxys that was catchable was the one from 3rd gen sereies, and it was at level 30. If it gained 20 levels, it had to be have some EV gained (unless the guy used 20 rare candies) Don't know if other countries held other events that made deoxys catchable? But the OT is in a completly different language...

I'm guessing that any Pokemon with a blank for its place of origin is hacked right? One of my tryranitars I got back in fourth gen now has a black line through where its place of origin should be.

How do you know it has no EVs?

Oh i just tested it by buying those nutrients like zinc and carbos, etc. The deoxys took 10 of everything and 1 into hp, which gave it a total of 510 EV total not used. (of course i resetted my game so its back to 0 EV used)

Still doenst change the fact that it apparently gained 20 levels without any EV if it was caught in 3rd gen. I dont know, could deoxys even be used in stuff like battle tower and battle frontier? That would explain why the person would want it to be 50.

Black and Whites' GTS has hack detection, sort of.

If you hacked a pokemon on Black and White, then you won't be able to put it on GTS.

If you hacked a pokemon on other games (D,P,Pt,Hg,Ss), and transfer it to B&W, then it will be able to be put onto GTS.
