Cloned pokemon are exactly the same as the non-cloned ones and does not affect your game in any way. There is really no way to tell if a pokemon is cloned unless you have seen another one exactly like the one you have.

There is no way to ensure legitimacy. I can tell what does freeze the game, but not here. I probably would analyze Shiny Pokémon I find on the GTS, or if anything looks suspicious.

lol no, that's a hack. Oblivia Deoxys can only be obtained on 4th gen, so it shouldn't say "From Pokemon Ranger", it should say from Sinnoh or Johto IIRC.

Tips on how to recognise a hacked pokemon ?

There are many things to look for. The obvious things are stats and moves, if it has an illegal move combination or higher stats than it should it's an obvious hack, but they're more subtle things as well. Eg the ball the Pokémon is can indicate if was hacked. Some pokemon can only be in certain balls. It knows an egg move yet it's a great ball? hack. (has to be in a pokeball if bred) it's from Hoenn yet in a quick ball? hack. (quick balls didn't exist in gen3) Obviously you need to watch out for exceptions. If it's a starter then it should normally be in Pokéball, unless it's from the entree forest (Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh) or from Colosseum (Johto). Another thing is location data, for pokemon caught in Unova this is easy because you can check to see if the Pokémon can be caught in that place. For pokemon from previous gens it's a bit harder because you can hatch an egg containing most pokemon in any game (and it doesn't say its from an egg), though it's still good for legendaries caught in previous gens. Mewtwo caught in Sinnoh? hack. You can also look at the level for anything not hatched from an egg, because this will have a minimum value depending on where it was caught. For pokemon caught in Unova you can also see what level it was caught at, so that's another thing to check. It's good look the Pokémon up online, see how it can be acquired and whether or not that info matches your pokemon. Bulbapedia is good because it lists what events it was distributed in so you can check for exceptions. Though obviously a pokemon can pass every test and still be a hack, you can never say 100% unless you physically saw it being caught.

Let me google for you. Under the "Can be obtained with" section, Diamond Pearl Platinum Heart Gold and Soul Silver are highlighted, indicating those are games the Deoxys can be obtained with. If you're still not convinced, I got it myself, and it could only transfer to those a fore-mentioned games.

If you're still not convinced, I got it myself, and it could only transfer to those a fore-mentioned games.

I knew it could only be obtained in Gen IV, but I did want to say for sure that it didn't keep it's Ranger location data without actually knowing that for sure. I found it interesting that, unless the game was hard modded, there is Ranger location data in Gen V. I thought that could either be there for any future Ranger games or there to keep the location data of Gen IV Ranger pokes (in the same way that Colo/XD are "Distant Land"). While I thought the latter was unlikely, I wanted to be 100%.

When you transfer a Pokemon does it tell you where did you caught it or where did you transfer it ?

It shows where you caught it, if you catch Mewtwo in HGSS and send it to DPPt, it'll still say Johto even though it was transferred from a Sinnoh game.

Well it is a good sign, but not a definitive answer. Post here and we can take a look and see if we spot anything off.

Determining legality is impossible with a surface observation alone, the best you can do is spot a hack. Learning how isn't difficult, just keep checking enough pokemon and you will soon figure out what info should be there and what info shouldn't be.

As for the Mew, it was easy to tell that it is fine since the OT is well known for having just about the only shiny flawless Mew that gets traded around
