I just traded my Reshiram for a shiny Darkrai over GTS. Seems a bit too good to be true but as it got on the GTS I gave it a go. As obviously it got onto the GTS I imagine all the basics are okay but I thought I'd run it through here anyway - I don't pay much attention to natures, IVs, EVs etc, so I'm naturally unsure as to whether I can trust my own judgement

caught Darkrai in platinum and he can't learn

Night Shade and Pursuit in platinum, but maybe

Leo send it to pokemon diamond or pearl and taught him

ID #0 is legal (I've used it myself for some of my games), but I can't recall if its legal for Gen 4 (iirc it is). The set make it seems as though it was destined to be used for that level 1 Magnemite, where you give it an Oran berry, survive a powerful hit with Sturdy, use Toxic, than recover all of its HP with the Oran Berry, then use recycle, protect or Toxic as needed from there. Best be would be Pokécheck it, just to be sure.

Nothing you mentioned screams illegal, but if it doesn't have EVs then just figure out the exact IVs.

Using a good IV calculator I would be surprised if you need more than 5 Rare Candies to get exact IVs for that Deoxys, and even then you don't actually need RCs, you could just use something like Audinos and keep track of the EVs you get from them.
