Speaking from personal experience of having seen far to many hacks on pokecheck and having RNGed over 1,000 pokemon myself, I would say that hackers are far more likely to use current dates than a date far into the future/past. In their often feeble attempts to make their hacks look legit, they somehow think a current date is indicative of legitimacy. RNGers, on the other hand, don't care about the date at all because changing the date is just part of the process. To someone who RNGs it makes no difference if the pokemon is from 2012, or 2099 (I once RNGed a pokemon in the year 2070 just because I was tired of looking at 2011/2012) but hackers tend to hack pokemon on recent dates because I assume the programs they use just grab the date from the computer they were on (pure speculation on my part here). Either way though, as Agonist said, the date is the information that has the least bearing on legitimacy (unless the year is not 2000-2099)

The Ditto looked fine to me though, but the form is always helpful too.

Too true. I know a hack when I see one as well, that'd for sure, but the date is something that they asked about, so I gave my best answer. However, I'm not an RNGer by any means, so I don't know tons about the process. Thanks for correcting me

My ultimate want is an uncloned shiny jirachi, if you have one, please tell me so I'm always extremely interested in other uncloned shiny event pokemon/shinies in general, so PM me if you want to trade

    Trading Friends of Mine:
    SmeargleRock's Trade Shop
    Rayce's Trade Booth
KiltedTrainer and Miss Wolveram's Trade Boutique[/CENTER] <-Yes, that is an unneeded center ending command. My signature wouldn't feel the same without it.

Anatidaephobia; it's a real thing. Trust me, I know.

However, "Unknown GBA PID" is usually an indicator of a hack, but I'm not an expert on 3rd gen events, so "Unkown GBA PID" might mean that the event is a little obscure. A good portion of popular 3rd gen events are ultra-obscure like the wish events and PCNY's. However since there are more 10th Anniversary pokemon around than the two aforementioned events (I think), Pokecheck might be accurate for those events, I'm not sure.

All these are indeed hacked. =/

Blastoise is hacked, Bulbasaur is fine. Pokecheck shows that flag for some events, and others not at all.

Youre RUBY Zigzagoon is hacked, and the others are fine. You are right though, they are pretty spammed.
    This one is hacked.

If you have questions about these, contact me by PM. Hope I could help!

That Porygon-Z is a common hack. Giratina seems okay, but I would like to know it's OT.

    Giratina's OT is JBLZ.

    @Rayce
    It's in a classic red-white Pokeball.

    Is it hacked?

Got a few Pokemon that I want to make sure are ok .

Shiny Porygon2 - it has average (decent) HP/stats

Nature: Gentle nature; scatters things often
Where it was caught: Sinnoh (think it was caught in either Diamond or Pearl at Trophy Park); 1/9/2013; apparently arrived at lv. 52
    Hp: 164
    Atk: 94
    Def: 93
    Sp.Atk: 115
    Sp.Def: 123
    Speed: 70
    Ability: Download
    Moves: Recycle, Discharge, Lock-On, Tri-Attack
Any other info: Its name is in caps and it was caught in a Master Ball.
    Ot id: Brock
    Ot id no: 16170

Shiny Kyurem (Japanese) - has above average Sp. Atk

    Nature: Modest nature; Highly curious
Where it was caught at: Giant Chasm; Apparently met at lv.75; 10/2/2010; caught in a Master Ball
    Hp: 283
    Atk: 180
    Def: 147
    Sp.Atk: 244
    Sp.Def: 161
    Speed: 161
    Ability: Pressure
Moves: Glaciate, Dragon Pulse, Imprision, Endeavor
Ot id: Jake (Japanese Version English font)
    Ot id no: 23225

Shiny Mew (MYSTRY) - has relatively superior stat (just one stat)

Nature: Rash nature; Quick to flee (noticed that this nature, along with the stats match one of my legit MYSTRY Mews o_O...)
Where it was caught at: seems to be a Toys R Us MYSTRY event Mew; in a Pokeball; Fateful encounter; 1/1/2012 (didn't find this to be too odd, since both of my MYSTRY Mews have different dates, since they were traded over at different times); it's lv.10
    Hp: 41
    Atk: 27
    Def: 27
    Sp.Atk: 28
    Sp.Def: 24
    Speed: 27
    Ability: Synchronize
Moves (not too worried, think that the person sent it over to White version and taught it these moves): Frost Breath, Struggle Bug, Calm Mind, Energy Ball
    Ot id: MYSTRY (female)
    Ot id no: 06930

The shiny Mystery Mew is an obvious hack (it can't be shiny) and if the Kyurem's OT matches this it's a VERY likely hack as well as a search of that ID came up with badly hacked pokemon.

EDIT: The Porygon2 looks legal, but it's suspicious.

Figured, will be keeping it since it was a good one though... just for the heck of it.

Double checked via the link, didn't find any shiny Kyurem, but did see one that was caught on the same day. So that solved it for me . Oh well. No skin off my back since I only traded a spare non shiny Verizion for it.

What did you find suspious about the Porygon2? Thought the OT looked that way, but didn't find the id no on Pokecheck so far.
