Nope,you don't.You have to train your pokemon to lv100 OR do a 3v3 and train your pokemon to lv50.I thought the fact that you could see the other persons team before the match was BS,but that just topped it.The only reason for me to even play the game is the story.

idk how many shinies and EV'd pokes I had in SS.Maybe like 50-60 all together.

I'm not doing that.I just want the rare candies so I can get the pokemon I EV up to level 100,rather than do the crappy 3 on 3 battle.Honestly though,why'd nintendo just ruin a perfectly good thing?lol
