You know, Mr. 3rd, most of the gym leader spots appear to be free. Someone is already going for Steel, ^ is going for water, and I've seen a fighting, dark and fire. I'm going for flying. Just apply to see if a spot is free!

I thought Mr. 3rd suited fairly well. Just make sure you re-name the badge and have the correct partner Pokemon. Assuming you stick with Kingdra, you won't need to change that. Make sure you PM Giratina's Ally with your team, too. Species is all he asks for.

OK I'll do that now but it is 4-6 of the same type and then you can have 2 wild cards right? That was the one rule I didn't understand.

So is there any specific tier the leaders follow or can I use any pokemon that is at least part dragon.

No legendaries, I'd imagine. I'm running a Salamence, which is generally considered an uber, but I'm good to use it. Again, PM Giratina Ally. And for you earlier question, it is 4 of your type minimum with a possible two wildcards.

Actually... I use, Latios too. Although, it is an OU legendary. No idea why I can use my Salamence. Thinking about it, I believe there's a ban list on the first page. If it isn't on that, you should be good to use it.

I did PM him and I'm running a Salamance as well but I'm also running a Latias and told him if I needed to change a pokemon to let me know so we will see I guess
