So the question is for the 4th gen..... that means that the first ever Pokemon I caught (without cheating) doesn't count in this topic, Patrat.
• Pearl: the first Pokemon I caught was Shinx - and nicknamed it after the Swahili word for lion Simba, and now its a Luxio. So far, of all the Pokemon I caught in Pearl, I have to say my favorite would be either Buizel or Pachirisu. I'm still eagerly awaiting to catch Glameow.
• Soul Silver: the first one I caught, I can't remember if it was Sentret or Rattata. Both are strong, and Sentret evolved. Of the two Pokemon I caught, I have to say my favorite would be Rattata, I will have to stop using her until I find an everstone. My favorite Pokemon to use in Soul Silver is the one I traded over from Pearl, Buizel.
