Imagine combining R/S's Tentacools every two steps and D/P's surfing speed. That would be hell.
No sig. Deal with it.

No, because I used repels!
I usually use Repels when surfing, but when I want to surf a really small distance (so small that it's not worth wasting a Repel), I always seem to run into something every other step.
I found it annoying at the time, but now I find it nowhere near annoying as in BW, where I seem to find a Pokemon every. freaking. step.

I think the Zubat/Golbat in caves were a lot worse than the Tentacool in the sea. I found myself exploring a lot more caves than sea routes, though, so that might explain why I dislike them more than I dislike the Tentacool. Repels really did come in handy and I wonder why most people didn't think of using them. They weren't too expensive, so I would stock up on tons of them before I had to head out to sea.
The first hundred Tentacools were the worst. And the second hundred, they were the worst, too. The third hundred Tentacools I didn't enjoy at all.
After that, it just went into a bit of a decline.

Scizor is the best Bug and Steel!
I normally get a lot of Tentacool, but I just bring a load of Max Repels and use them.
Ugh the Tentacool. I didn't mind in G/S/C cause I just killed them and the uncommon Tentacruel, but like still!
The horrors of surfing from mosdeep to the victory road with NO REPELS.
That is when you know you are really screwed.
Then you realize there are Zubat's and Golbat's in the cave, then you are even more screwed.

I am back to Pokémon/Serebiiforums. If you had any business with me before my long time outside Serebiiforums, let me know by a Private Message
Yes, I used to have 99 Max Repels in the Bag to avoid Tentacools
No, I ran into over 9000 tentacools and tentacruels.
The worst was definitely going to mossdeep and the whole eastern region of Hoenn. Pain in my butt. >->

Unless you're EVing your Pokemon with much Special Defense, it could be annoying while encountering much Tentacool without Repels and yes, I'd encountered over sixty Tentacools right before landing, which is the most annoying thing in R/S/E.
Actually, I believe it was about 100.
In that game they were on par with Zubats/Bidoofs.
Thank GF for getting rid of all annoying Pokemon in White. Well, maybe except Audino, but they help you gain more experience (some annoying done right!)!
If you believe in Jesus Christ put this in your profile and don't just ignore this, because in the Bible it says, ‘If you deny me, I will deny you in front of my Father in the gates of Heaven.’
Thank you, Mew_, for this Broken Signature, and -Sarah, for this userbar.
