Speaking of tonight's game pro golfer Phil Mickelson is going to attempt a 100 yard shot.

LOL at Florida at #2. Hope we don't let the pressure get to our heads on Saturday. It's gonna be intense. I wish I could be there.

God, I am so happy about this. That was such a shitty first half, but the Broncos played incredibly well in the second. I mean, the Chargers weren't nearly as strong in the second half, either, and not getting any more ridiculous turnovers helped, but I was still impressed. Maybe I'm biased, but I can't believe how good Peyton Manning still is.

I thought they'd win going in, but hell if anyone saw it going like that.

Very good play by the Bronco's in the second half, and absolutely horrid play from Rivers. Really didn't think there was any way they'd manage to come back like that, but they obviously proved me wrong!

Props to the Broncos. 35 unanswered points is incredible. Also, I never know what to think of Philip Rivers. Overrated? Underrated? Elite? Hmm.
Anyway, glad the Skins won on Sunday, and RG3's incredible run was just icing on the cake.

Overrated. He never seems to produce as well as the other elite quarterbacks do, and he has more than his fair share of lackluster performences. I wouldn't say he is a bad quarterback, but every season the analysists talk about how talented of a quarterback he is.

It's interesting that the Chargers chose him over Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, and Drew Brees.
They lost Brees after his shoulder surgery in '06, and they traded Manning to the Giants for Rivers in '04, and they passed on Roethlisberger in the '04 draft.

I thought the Chargers traded Manning because he refused to play for them, but I could be wrong.

You're right. He *****ed about being drafted by the Chargers and got traded soon after. And I liked Eli too because I'm a fan of (and possibly a student of soon) where he played college ball at.

It happens almost every season, though I wouldn't say 3-3 is a "collapse," especially since the expectations are lower than last year's.

And the Browns have been kicking themselves ever since they passed on Big Ben, letting slip to their biggest rivals. It is my opinion that if they had got to him first, the Browns would have had all those winning seasons, the two Super Bowl titles (05, 08) and Butch Davis would still be Cleveland's coach and he wouldn't have gone through what he went through at North Carolina. That being said, I feel bad for the Tar Heels because like my Buckeyes, they can't play in a bowl or for the conference championship this season. At least they didn't get a four-year ban from such games, unlike some other school.

I was also hoping the Broncos would lose yesterday as Peyton would continue to pay for shunning Cleveland and displacing Tebow. Cleveland would not have started 0-5 if Peyton was their QB, but of course he's too chicken to play in the same division as Big Ben.

Man, I hope not. I don't love him or anything, but I've got a lot of respect for his ability and what he's done, and would hate to see it end for him like this.

Me too. I always like to see Manning win and Rivers lose, so it happening in the same game is great. And Rivers collapse in the second half was awesome.

I feel about the same as you. I don't know what to think- sometimes he seems great, sometimes he sucks. I heard someone on tv describe him as similar to Tony Romo, which I have to agree with. In a given game, I wouldn't bet against him, but over the course of the season he (they) aren't consistant enough to lead their teams to glory.

Like Cleveland was in a better position then Denver when Peyton was making his decision.

Apparently Vilma is talking about playing this Sunday. If he is healthy, then I am truly excited. A line-up of Vilma, Lofton, and Hawthorne is scary good.

The Cowboys are always inconsistent though so it was just assumed. As for the Eagles, everyone saw it kind of happen but weren't sure, and then they just crumbled

Actually the Cowboys played pretty well considering the team they were playing and where they were playing. They ran the ball excellently, and played somewhat decent defense and passed somewhat efficiently. There was some huge mistakes but not a whole bunch of tiny ones. If they correct those huge mistakes they will go toe to toe with anyone in the league.
