You like a Tebow video? Since when have you ever liked that guy?

Speaking of Tebow, I found an amusing article about ESPN over-covering him, and how I'm not the only one who was a little peeved at that?

Of couse they love Tebow. He creates a big story, which makes more people pay attention to football, which makes more people want to read SI, which = $$$$, which is all most people care about. Yes, it's a very depressing story.

Sports Illustrated had nothing to do with my post. That article was from USA Today.

If you feel that the Superbowl is stupid, then maybe you shouldn't post in the NFL/NCAAF thread, where the discussion is all football all the time. Just a suggestion.

Any opinions on who should be performing the Super Bowl halftime shows? In my opinion, locally-based acts should do them. I would have had John Mellencamp do Super Bowl XLVI since he was from Indiana.

I think the Super Bowl halftime performers should be for the next three years:

XLVII - Better Than Ezra (New Orleans)
XLVIII - Bon Jovi (New Jersey)
    XLIX - Gin Blossoms (Phoenix)

    What are your opinions?

ESPN is already unbearable at times, but its REALLY going to be unbearable with them talking about the Super Bowl non-stop for the next week.

    Lets change gears a bit..

We all know Indy will draft Luck, but who's gonna win the RGcubed sweepstakes? My money is on the Browns, they have 2 1st round picks and 1 of them is pick number 4, at that spot the Rams could still draft Justin Blackmon and have another first round pick to spend on a corner or a LT.

Not Madonna. Locally-based acts would actually be pretty neat though.

*facepalm* Of course they're going to be talking non-stop about the Super Bowl... it's the Super Bowl, isn't it? They wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't cover the Super Bowl 24/7.

Browns also have Colt McCoy though; not sure if they would be ready to make a QB switch yet or wait for him to develop (but then again, it is a revolving door of QBs; case in point Brady Quinn). I say Redskins will get RG3. Their current QB roster? Rex Grossman, John Beck, Johnathan Cromptan.

ESPN not talking about the Super Bowl would be like the Weather Channel not covering hurricanes.

    I have claimed Giratina

I really hope Blackmon somehow drops to #5...

He won't. I think the Rams will take him at Number 2 to give Sam Bradford a good receiver, something he desperately needs. And even if they don't, when is the last time the Browns had a good receiver? They'd snatch him up at Number 4 if he fell to them.
