I didn't see anyone saying anything bad about the Giants... Calm down, jeez.
    EDIT: Also, I'd start Ryan.
Looks like the Bears' D is doing what it does best. This is gonna be UGLY for the Titans. EDIT AGAIN: Bears just set their franchise record w/ 28 points in the first qtr

    Whatever.

I've got Lions vs. Jags on Yahoo! Sports's Game Channel thing while I'm doing hw. I know it's 14-0 as of this post and only the second quarter, but dang. The Jags have done nothing to the Lions so far. This could very well be the Lions first comfortable win of the season.

That's what I'm checking on the Bears on. I was on the ESPN one but then I realised it sucked. And yeah looks like the Lions will blow out the Jags no trouble, no idea why GB couldn't do the same.

Well, Chicago wasn't doing anything against the Jaguars until the 4th quarter.

21-0 Lions at halftime. This is the first time all season they've led at halftime. Lions already have 285 yards of offense against them. Jags only have 57 against the Lions.

I'd rather turn it on and score 38 in the 4th qtr than get a close win against one of the worst teams in the league... EDIT: 31-5 Bears at the end of the half. Beautiful.

Dang, Lions getting interceptions for once. And the Jags have thrown the fewest interceptions in the league, haven't they?

I am sorry for doubting Jonte Green.

Yeah, Jacksonville was tied with the Pats for least INT's thrown. Meanwhile Tennesee finally gets a TD, and right after Forte broke off a 46 yd run, that ended up w/ a Bears FG. Doesn't really matter what we give up here, just keep the lead... EDIT: That's what I wanted to see! Bears rolling now, Cutler and Marshall now each have 3 TD's, and we've forced 5 turnovers. Can we get more? 51-12 Bears

I'm not watching the game. Either the Jags have really picked it up in the second half of the Lions defense is collapsing.

EDIT: Game's over. Lions take the Jags to the woodshed and win 31-14. Finally back at .500. Next week, the Lions are on the road against the Vikings in their third to last road game of the season. This game is huge, and here is where the Lions have an advantage. If they can find a way to beat the Vikings, they're back home for the majority of the rest of the season while sporting a 5-4 record. Granted, none of their home games will be easy. The Colts are the only team I'm fairly sure they'll beat. We'll see, though.

And you know what? I'm calling it right here, right now. I'm puking in my mouth as I say this, but I think the Bears are going to win the Super Bowl. They look virtually unbeatable.

The Panthers already showed a great way to beat us, but considering they're the only team that knows us that well, we're probably good to go. I'm still not gonna mark the SB won yet, though.

I'm sure the rest of the NFC North knows the Bears better than the Panthers do. The Bears won't go 15-1. After all, except for the Packers, Panthers, and maybe the Lions to a lesser extent, the Bears haven't been challenged yet.

And I'm still calling a Bears-Texans Super Bowl. They seem like the two most complete teams in the NFL.

The Panthers head coach used to be our DC, I guarantee you they know more about our defense (Which is our strong point) than anybody in the league.

Ah. Still don't think the Bears will finish 15-1 though. They're way overdue to have a bad game, and they still have to play the Texans, 49ers, Packers, two games against an improved Vikings team, and the Lions in Ford Field. That's not an easy task.

lol The reason I picked the Panthers in that game? Because their offense really isn't that bad, while the Redskins have horrible defense. The Panthers defense might be bad, but then again, the Redskins offense isn't anything special, either. I figured their defense would be enough to handle the Redskins mediocre offense.

Looks like I'm perfect in my picks with the 1:00 games ending. Let's see if that continues.

Yeah, I agree they're due for another bad game. I see them probably 13-3, 12-4, as I did at the beginning of the season. Congrats on the nice picks btw,

    Thanks.

I still see the Lions finishing close to or at .500, which is where I saw them prior the season (8-8, maybe 9-7 if they upset either the the Bears at home, Texans, Falcons, or either of the Packers games).

****, the Skins lost. Our offense was sluggish (mostly thanks to some ridiculously poor play calls by Kyle Shanahan) and our defense gave up a big play late again. Oh well, looks like we're out of the playoffs this season.

Not only that, (Mike) Shanahan might lose his job.

Dude, calm down. It's football, not a matter of life or death. Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game.
