15-6 this week in Top 25 picks so i got hit pretty hard this week. NFL 8-6 so far on the week. Yuck. I'm still going with my pick of the Giants for this week. I just see Minn as the perfect team to give the Giants a W.

Something tells me the Giants may finally win tonight.

As for the Chiefs wow! Another close call, but a wins a win. I'm not gonna get crazy and say the Chiefs will finish the season unbeaten because we all know that isn't gonna happen, but if it did happen that would be crazy. The Chiefs are in 1st place in the AFC West, and the lone undefeated team left in the NFL thanks to the Colts beating the Broncos. Congrats to the Colts btw.

As for the Lions.....A blown game they should've won. Typical Lions.

Take a look at bama since the A&M game. They look pretty darn strong in all facets of the game. While FSU is a good team, they still haven't played a team that is capable of producing a decent pass rush. I really don't see them beating Bama. Jimbo will probably wilt on the sideline at the mere sight of Saban.

Oh, and not a chance Florida surprises FSU. Did you SEE that team yesterday? They got dismantled by a back up. What do you think Winston is going to do to them? UF has lost too much off their defense to injuries. Granted it is in the Swamp and it will be the only thing UF has left to play for, but I just don't see UF hanging with FSU, much less beating them. The only thing stopping FSU from going undefeated is FSU, which in many seasons past they have shown they are perfectly capable of. So we'll see. They still have some bugaboo teams left on their schedule that they have been known to pull a wtf loss to from time to time.
Alabama's secondary melts at the sight of a pass oriented attack. Do you not watch football or something?

Tonight's game isn't going to impact the Top Ten, so here's this week's list:

    1) Seattle. Both Seattle and Denver have lost only to Indy, so I look at their weaknesses. Seattle's played a stronger schedule so far, and their o-line is more likely to improve than Denver's defense

    2) Denver. Giving up a LOT of points these days.

    3) New Orleans. They had a nice bye.

    4) Indianapolis. They've beaten Seattle AND Denver. I don't care if they do have two losses.

    5) Kansas City. If you want to crack the Top 4, either play somebody relevant or annihilate the garbage on your schedule. Fifth place STILL feels too high for them after barely surviving a battered, bad Houston team.

    6) San Francisco. Does ANYBODY think this team wouldn't destroy the Chiefs straight-up?

    7) Green Bay. OR this team?

8 ) Cincinnati. Really showing some spunk lately, and good teams find ways to win games late.

    9) New England. I don't know. I mean... losing to the JETS? It's weird that they beat New Orleans, but sandwiched that game with awful showings.

    10) Carolina. Only Denver, Seattle, KC, New Orleans, and the Colts have as many or more net points than the Panthers. There are teams with a better record (Dallas, San Diego, the Jets, Detroit, and Chicago), but I think the Panthers have a higher ceiling than they.

LOL @ having Carolina in the top 10. They are 3-3 and they've had a soft-*** schedule so far.

Despite their loss i'd be more inclined to put Detroit above the Panthers.

Cutler is out at least a month. Briggs is out at least six weeks. Sounds like the Bears season is basically over, better luck next year I suppose. The Rams lost Bradford for the entire season; that kinda sucks for him - he was having a very good season, and it now looks like the Rams don't really have a shot at anything either. (I thought they'd get a wildcard spot before the season, but not sure how they can do that without their quarterback, especially sine they already have a losing record.) In other news, the Bears defense is still terrible - called it.

I strongly considered Detroit. Really, there's no team I didn't include that I think can be viewed as a glaring omission, so I went with my gut (I picked Carolina has a preseason wildcard team). I tend to think Detroit and Carolina have the most POTENTIAL of all teams possible for the 10th spot, but I like Carolina's QB and defense more, so I went with them. Detroit is my #11, if that means anything.

The Giants won. I had a feeling they would win. The Vikings played sloppy as heck.

That game was pretty sloppy on both sides. Freeman was horrible though.

That kickoff return was priceless, only part of the game i really got to see, (Minnesota returner goes down, ball pops up). I had picked the Giants to win, but by 10, was a very ugly game regardless. I will argue that despite the score though, the Saints-Dolphins game was entertaining if you're a Saints fan.

As a Bucs fan I am shocked. SHOCKED I TELL YOU!!!!! Who knew Freeman throwing 53 times would be a bad idea? The guy is an elite QB after all!

Putting Mizzou and Texas Tech on upset alert this week. With Texas Tech gone, practically all hope for that conference rests with Baylor plus i think S.C. despite their injuries will surprise the other other Tigers in the conference.

The Bucs are now 0-7. One of my friends is a big time Bucs fan, and needless to say every Sunday he's been in a pretty crappy mood. He wants Greg Schiano gone. By the looks of it a lot of Buc fans want Schiano gone....

As a Lions fan for all of these years I know how much losing can suck. I just pray for the Bucs, and the sake of there fans, that they don't go 0-16. I don't think they will, but you never know.

Seattle Seahawks fan here, and all I can say is that I'm having a very good time this season. Granted, I would have loved for the Seahawks to have beaten the Colts a few weeks ago, since that really dashed my hopes that the 2013 Seattle Seahawks could have repeated the record of the 1972 Miami Dolphins, but I'm still good. Can't wait for Monday's game where Seattle will hopefully thrash the St. Louis Rams and bring their record up to 7-1.

    This.

I didn't watch the ND game, but the Rutgers game got boring quick and so did the Alabama game. It's one of the reasons why I'm not a huge college football fan.

That Mizzou/South Carolina game was great. The rest of the games in College Football today were pretty much blowouts.

Minnesota beat Nebraska by 11 today, and Northwestern lost again for the 4th consecutive week in a row. I remember everyone was talking Rose Bowl for Northwestern before Northwestern played Ohio State. The Michigan/Michigan State game next week is gonna be VERY huge. Honestly, I think whoever wins this game will most likely win the Legends Division and play Ohio State in the Big 10 title game.

That Cowboys-Lions game. That was one of the craziest games I've ever seen. HUGE win for the Lions. Still can't believe they won that, I thought the game was over at so many points.

Now they're 5-3 going into their off-week. Very nice!

Good to see Michigan-Michigan State next week, too. Will need to see it, since there will be no Lions.

Well... Lions should have won that game regardless (they were far more agressive), but the sloppy play made you wonder if they would. Only the 2nd team to ever win a game with 4+ turnovers
