Schwartz v. Harbaugh, and by extension the Lions v. 49ers, was the most interesting thing to come out of the NFL today.

Yep. Hopefully the bandwagon shrinks, for the sake of the fans that actually stuck through things like 0-16. San Francisco has shown to be a pretty good team this year, and the Lions' luck has finally run out. Average and poor efforts can get you by teams like the Vikings and Cowboys, but not today. Those last two drives baffle me, though. Stafford choked, Pettigrew had a big drop, and inexplicably Calvin Johnson was not targeted until the last play of regulation. If he's the best wide out in the league, how is he not the top option in those situations? For that matter, what about in the red zone? 12 passes, 1 target to Johnson. There's no way the Niners should win a game committing over 120 yards of penalties on the road. Expect to see this version of the Lions more and more as their schedule gets more difficult.

Oh thank God, the Eagles finally won. I don't really like how we struggled in the 2nd half, but I'll take it anyway. A win's a win, right?

Yeah, and the NFC East sure looks dysfunctional enough for Philly to still have a chance.

Packers now undisputed kings of the NFL for at least this week. Can't complain. Some tough games up ahead though, namely 4 out our next 6 games on the road. Safety might also become a position of concern. At least we got several of the tougher ones like Saints, at Chicago, and at Atlanta out of the way ^_^

TBH they should of won it. First of all, their offense is astonishing, Matthew Stafford's a star, Megatron's awesome, and Jahvid Best looks pretty goddamn good so far. I expect big things out of them.

Are you kidding me NFC East. If the Redskins win this division, I'll run around in my underpants on the street. The Eagles still looked pretty bad in the 4th, but you know, a win's a win. Vick and Asomugha had good games.

Not even the best offense in their division. I don't know what Jahvid Best you're looking at. Take away the Chicago game, and he's averaging 45 yards a game in the other 5. I think Stafford did a pretty good job of showing today that he isn't as close to "star" status as the media likes to make it seem like. There was a playoff type atmosphere, and from the moment the Niners started getting pressure, he played scared. Lots of hurried and errant passes. I will agree with you that they should have won the game. San Francisco had 120 yards in penalties, 2 turnovers, and a subpar performance from Alex Smith on the road, but apparently all they needed was Frank Gore.

Brandon Lloyd was traded into the NFC West. He's become irrelevant now.

Finally, the Eagles won. Something in noticed, was that when Vince tried to scramble, it was either the tight end or wide reciver, was open to the right of him. I think he tried to scramble because he thought he could.

To be fair, his future with the Broncos didn't look too bright with Tebow throwing to him. Bradford's quite an upgrade.

I didn't call him a bust, but thanks for getting defensive. I just said Lloyd's future looks brighter with Sam Bradford throwing him the ball, which it does.

Big upgrade for the Rams at receiver then...
How about College Football? Any early predictions on the big LSU-Alabama game?

toss up on the bama/lsu game. I think LSu has a slight edge due to having a better QB

That game will be amazing to watch, no doubt. Lee and Jefferson are both more experienced than McCarron, so I think you're probably right, but idk which one Miles will decide to go with. Both defenses are incredible though.

Packers are still undefeated . I wonder how long they could go without losing a game.

I only saw the Packers when they played the Saints at the start of the season, but they looked like a team on a mission. I haven't seen that kind of determination from a team coming off of a Super Bowl win before

Who the Packers? I think they play the Vikings next. It should be an easy win for them but they are division rivals so it could still go either way.
