-Got REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAALLLLY bored and played at the crappy Voltorb flip thing until I got to 3500 coins, Bought a Dratini, Sandshrew and Abra with the coins.

-Helga fell in battle thanks to two critical hits in a row from Whitney's evil Miltank D':

-Reginald beat the heck out of the Miltank and I won the Badge from Whitney after her little *****ing session.

varanus_komodoensis hey if you need a dark type with good defenses, go with Umbreon. He has 110 base Def and 130 base Sp.Def compared to Houndoom's 50 Def and 80 Sp.Def.

Time to continue my Soulsilver Nuzlocke.

-I continue on to Route 32 and caught Ekans. I trained Ekans with the trainers on this Route.
-In Union Cave, I luckily caught an Onix. I trained Onix some and went on towards Azalea Town. I later boxed Slugma.
-On Route 33, I caught a Hoppip and boxed him.
-In Ilex Forest, I used a repel and taught Headbutt to Wooper. I then used Headbutt in Ilex Forest and found a Hoothoot.
-I ran around until the Repel wore off and trained all of my Pokemon.
-I went back to Azalea Town and Headbutted and found a Heracross(I'm lucky).
-I trained Heracross and boxed Beedrill.
-After I got some proper training, I went to Slowpoke Well, found a Slowpoke(failed to catch it), and beat Team Rocket.
-I beat my rival before challenging Azalea Gym, and won with no problems.
-I beat all the trainers in Azalea Gym(even the avoidable ones) and fought and beat Bugsy.

It was my school's athletics day today, on the same day SPPF was down. Needless to say, I was bored and played SS (Along with Okamiden and Super Monkey Ball 3D :P)

-Captured Ditto on Route 35
-Captured Sudowoodo on Route 36
-Did A LOT of grinding with the team.
-Beat Ichberg in the Burnt Tower, released the dogs.
-Ran onto Route 38 and found/captured Entei!

-Ran onto Route 39 and found/captured Raikou!

Continuing on from my last post.

I got the Slugma

and Mareep

eggs from Primo.
Hatched them both and named

Magma and

Flossie.
Trained them up to around level 6ish and took on the Sprout Tower.

First loss Flossie died to a critical hit vine whip at level 7 </3 rip.

I continued training Magma untill he reached level 12. Trained Twitch

and Roxy

untill they were level 12 also.

I conquered the Sprout Tower and then went to face Falkner. He was a breeze for Magma and Twitch.

Bagde 1 earned!
I collected the egg from the aide.

I then continued on my travels, levelling up Calvin

and reaching the Union Cave. I caught a Sandshrew

named Dunes.

Hi there guys, I've just begun a nuzlocke challenge on HeartGold, only in Cherrygrove at the moment.

Playing with the same set of rules as in the first post, with the addition of only using the standard
pokeballs, might add some more restrictions as I get further into my challenge.

Started off with Totodile which, i've nicknamed Snippy, not the greatest name, couldn't really think
of a better one unfortunately, but yeah, me and Snippy are chilling outside a Pokemon Centre at
the moment about to continue with our adventure, who knows which Pokemon we will encounter,
and hopefully we don't lose too many along the way

Soul Silver Nuzlocke.

-I went through Ilex Forest with a couple repels.
-I caught a Drowzee and boxed him. I then beat all of the trainers.
-Up in Goldenrod, I got the radio card and Whitney went back to her gym.
-I went up to Route 35 and beat the trainers and caught Nidoran♂ and boxed Ekans.
-I went up to Route 36 and caught Vulpix and in Nation Park,I headbutted for a Pineco.
-I boxed Heracross and Onix and trained Vulpix, Pineco, and Nidoran♂ for a while.
-I went back to fight Whitney. I won with no trouble with Flaaffy and her Thunder Wave.

Right started HG Nuzcloke. Rules: Don't repeat capture, use healing items found, not bought (although E4 items will be bought).

Chose Chikorita as starter, did boring stuff. Finally started. Caught Button the Sentret on route 29, and killed a ratata on route 46. Caught shimmer the metapod (boxed), Kristina the Pidgey (boxed) and Rockster the Geodude. Got Derp the Wooper (boxed) and Ghoul the Gastly. Button died whilst training. Currently in Bellsprout Tower.

I just started a nuzlocke challenge in HeartGold. My starter is a Cyndaquil, nicknamed "Quilliam."

After an almost one month hiatus of mourning the loss of Corsage, I have returned to continue the Nuzlocke.

I decided to take Sith the Duskull out of the PC and slapped an Exp Share on it. I trained my 5 main Pokemon on Route 219 for a little while and then headed to the gym. Chimney had a field day in this gym taking out all those Magnemite and such. Anyway, I soon reached Byron and commenced the battle. Chimney beat his Magneton with a Close Combat, Flotate defeated his Steelix with Surf, and then Chimney came back out and knocked out his Bastiodon with Close Combat. I got the badge and went to the Library and spoke with Prof Rowan and company. Suddenly...BOOM! An explosion at Lake Valor. At this point I'm not sure if I will go back to Iron Island or just continue with the main game.

So i decided to do a nuzlocke on platinum.
So i started and did the intro.
I chose my turtwig who i named chuckles.
Did the other bit up to where a got my pokeballs.
I caught a bidoof who i named slave since thats all there good for.imo
I backtracked to lake veriety to catch a starly who i named Price cause hes a badass.
I trained chuckles and price to level 7 but slave fell to the might of a wild lvl 2 bidoof damn crits.
I put bidoof in the box and went on.
On the way to jubilife i battled some trainers with both of my pokemon leveling.
Saved in jubilife

I decided to continue with the story but in case I lost another team member I decided to evolve Bowser the Gligar and bring it with me to gain experience with the Exp Share. So I headed to Lake Valor and defeated Saturn and Team Galactic and then to Lake Verity where I defeated Mars. Team Galactic mention Lake Acuity so I decided to head there. Chimney did most of the work along the way seeing as it is good against Ice types and I captured a Snover, a Sneasel, and a Swinub along the way. I soon arrived in Snowpoint and I quickly went to the gym. Chimney swept all the trainers and then I took on Candice. Skippy beat her Sneasel with a Jump Kick, Flotate defeated Piloswine with Surf, and Chimney beat Abomasnow with a Flame Wheel. Then she sent out Froslass out. I used Sith, Chimney, and Leonidas to beat the foul beast and they barely did it. I got the badge, grabbed the Reaper Cloth, and after a cutscene I flew to Veilstone.

The Galacatic Building was full of Team Galactic grunts but my team was more than capable of defeating them. Once I cleared out the base I had to battle Cyrus and Saturn consecutively but both were easy battles. The final battle was set to take place on top of Mt Coronet but before that I evolved Sith into Dusknoir. With that done I made my way into the mountain.

Soildering on I trained everyone up to level 45 and took my anger out on Clair who was surprisingly easy!
I did the Dragon's Den stuff and got the extremespeed

Grinded Layla till she evolved.

First i healed before going into the trainer school
Talked to my rival were i recieved a town map
Battled two school children took their money and a potion
Got the poketch
Went to route 204 were i caught a starly named it fly slave as ill be usung it for defog
Went to route 203 were i battled my rival. Chuckles beat his starly while price beat his chimchar
Caught a shinx who i named voltz
Leveled voltz to catch up with the rest of my team
I then went towards oreburgh city
i arrived talked to my rival then went and healed
I the saved and went off

Okay, since I felt like a run-through and don't feel like deleting any of my pokemon, I'm doing an unsaved HG Nuzlocke. Joy. I'm not using a legendary clause, although I won't be catching anything I already have a dex entry for, not gonna have six Gloom like my LG run. Also, I'll only be playing up until I've beaten Claire.

I started with a naive male Cyndaquil named Bane, encountered pokemon on both the routes between New Bark and Mr. Pokemon, and tore my rival (Vallan) a new one. Making my way toVoilet I caught Steel the serious male Geodude and Annie the quiet female Zubat. Missed route 31 (why do I always forget it?!) then made my way to the surrounding areas where I caught Ether the jolly Unown (HP Fighting) and went to Sprout Tower to catch Ari the docile Rattata.

Then a crit from a Rattata took out Annie. RIP.

Bane took down the monks easily, while Steel swept the gym with no trouble at all.

We hatched the egg, released the result (no, bad Togepi!), beat our way to Union Cave where Ether knocked our what would have been my new Onix. -_-;

Ether then went on to sweep everyone between us and Azalea, while we caught Nicky the impish male Spearow, then dove into Ilex and grabbed us Barry the serious male Metapod, who was the first boxed team member.

We ground.

Steel then swept the Rockets in Slowpoke Well, where we caught Kirby the naughty male Slowpoke. We then healed, boxed Kirby, and went to train in Ilex Forest.

Have I mentioned I'm horribly dumb?

Ari had no problem with Vallan's Ghastly, which went down with one Bite, but his Croconaw ripped a big hole in her, leaving me to switch in the only member that wasn't weak to him/had no worthwhile move, Nicky. He was nearly taken out by bite, but I hoped that the major hurt Ari had put on the thing was enough and called for Fury Attack.

It lived.

Nicky didn't.

Sent out Ether, maybe it could stand up to the hits. Came in, was immediately knocked down to 4 HP. I switched in my best hope, Bane and his Quick Attack.

Water Gun as he came in. He was left with 1 HP.

Quick Attack.

Little ****** lives with 1 HP and kills off my fiery baby!!!

Thankfully that meant that Ari could come back in with a Quick Attack of her own and finish it. Steel took care of the Zubat.

RIP boys, you were both totes epic.

Steel ripped through the gym (w/Ether taking out Bugsy's Metapod for xp) and we made out way to Goldenrod. In that area we've so far grabbed Drane the serious male Drowzee (boxed) and Missy the impish female Nidoran.

Currently training Missy to be level with the rest of the team.

Decided to start a Platinum Nuzlocke following these rules:
1. Only first Pokemon per area
2. Fainting = Death
3. Nicknames are required
4. No use of Repels (Will probably hate myself for this later...)
5. No legendaries allowed
6. While not required, excessive grinding should be avoided.

So I started off, choosing Turtwig as my starter because most playthrough ended up with me getting Chimchar or Piplup. The Turtwig was a female (Sweet!)
I defeated the Rival (Named him Dave, btw) and tried to sneak myself between the tall grass without encounters, although I did find one. Darn, no Pokemon from Route 201 for me. :'(
I bought some Pokeballs from the mart and caught a Starly from Lake Verity. I talked to mom and started the adventure.
Went into the grass of Route 202, hoping for a Shinx or a Kricketot... and what do you know? A Bidoof appeared! X(

I finally began my climb to the top of Mt Coronet. Along the way there were many Team Galactic members but I managed to defeat them all without taking any damage until reaching the very last grunt. When I reached the top I was stopped by two grunts and then Mars and Jupiter tried to tag team me (Woot) but then my rival showed up (aww) and we managed to take them down without too much hassle. Cyrus tried to unleash the legendary Dialga and Palkia but was stopped short of controlling them when Giratina appeared. Cynthia and I gave chase and after making my way through the Distortion World I had a very easy battle with Cyrus. I decided to let Sith knock out Giratina for experience and I took a break at the Sendoff Spring.
