I'm kinda new to the series, but I've gotten really into it like I do with every new series.I'm hoping to get some more games for it other then the original and the first Battle Network.

    Favorites:
    Toad Man
    Hornet Man

Best weapon, of course, is the Hornet Chaser.

I'm starting to get really interested in the series. I've played MMBN 3 (White) recently. It's pretty enjoyable.

Poor Splash Woman, she had to be weak to one of the spammiest projectiles.

I haven't played a MegaMan game outside of 1 and 2 in awhile, though the Battle Network series has been the most fun in the past. Getting 100% or attempting to was always a fun/frustrating challenge. Bass Ω and Bass BX were always the worst, though Ω bosses in general are terrifying. Then there's Serenade.

I believe my first mega man game was mega man x (memory is sketchy because I was really young but I remember my brother having a mega man game on the SNES and watching him play it as well as playing it myself).

I'd say my favorite one would have to be...Mega Man ZX though the SNES games come pretty close.

I busted out Mega Man 9 on my Wii, and hoo boy, I forgot how awesome Tornado Man's theme and stage are!

Now I just need to play Mega Man 10's Commando Man stage to call it a day...

Also, who here has played all the Mega Man Classic(or another subseries's) games?

I've played all the Classic ones(Even Mega Man & Bass, and Wily Tower(though that last one was via a somewhat questionable method)...)

    Favorite Robot Masters:

    Shadow Man (MM3)
    Centaur Man (MM6)
    Burner Man (MM and Bass)
    Boomer Kuwanger (X)
    Slash Beast (X4)

The first game of Megaman that I've ever owned was the original X on the SNES. Lots of fun to play, and I often played it again quite a few times after defeating Sigma. The most notable element to me in the Megaman series is its awesome soundtrack. MM Zero was actually fun, and the story was great. ZX and ZXA felt more like epilogues to the Zero series to me, but the Model feature was fresh and fun.

Battle Network was fun, too. I recall having the first and Megaman Battle Network 5: Team Colonel. Liberation missions FTW.

Megaman Zero 4's my favorite game out of the entire series. But all of them have their merits (excluding X7)

I wish we'd had more hidden battles with past Mavericks in the X Series, but it is still better than Star Force...

And Commando Man has been beaten!

Time to wreck Wily AGAIN, and get the ROBOENZA cure while watching Retsupurae on my phone!

My first is Megaman Zero 4, but I didn't enjoy at first, since I didn't know the controls. X/ But once I did, I started loving it. But that's the only thing I've really played (the Zero series), as well as Battle Network (which is frickin' difficult, but I went as far as fighting Elec Man then Proto Man because the story's interesting XP) 1 and 4(?) Blue Moon (also really difficult in my opinion). Then just a littpe bit of the original X. Only stopped playing that because it's hard to play it on a phone. X/

Edit: By the ways, I'm wondering about people's thoughts on Rockman Xover. I like how MegaMan OVER looks in many of his forms, but I don't think I can try playing it.

Of all the stupid meme-related luck...

Today, I simply cannot defeat Air Man, even with the Leaf Shield(I always get the Metal Blade last, so I can challenge myself)...

    YOU CANNOT DE-FEAT AIIRRRMAAN!

As he fires his tornadoes, try dashing to the other side of the stage. Before he jumps towards your location, execute the Leaf Shield. But do so when you're on the other side of Air man, where you can run to the other side of the room and repeat the process. Have you tried that?

It really is sad how they've left Mega Man fall by the wayside, but Capcom has a history of burying promising properties for no good reason. Then again Rock was sort of their company mascot for so long, so it's kind of saddening to see him fall so far. At this point the Smash Bros. series treats him better than Capcom does.

True that. Seeing the slow fall of Megaman was horrible for me as well. I honestly hated how Crapcom just incorporated him into a shitton of crossover games. Megaman 9 and 10 were pleasing, but I wanted more. But oh well. Sucks for the fans because Crapcom doesn't listen to the fans.

I honestly haven't played much of the classic series. I've played BN 1-5 (only beat 2-4), X Command mission(love this) and the 1st X game(not finished), the first starforce game, Legands 1 and 2(beat neither), and ZX(still playing). Only series I've actually finished was Megaman Zero and that's only because I got the collection on DS.

Mega Man X:Command Mission is a truly underrated game.

We need more Mega Man RPGs, but first we need more MEGA MAN!

My experience with Mega Man has been mostly limited to the classic series, namely 1-6 on the 3DS VC. From what I've played of those, it was a very solid (but formulatic) series for the NES. I did play a little bit of Battle Network 1, but I didn't like it and just couldn't get into that series.

Mega Man 4 is my favourite of the classic series, whereas Mega Man 2 is my least favourite.

Played all Battle Network, the order of best to worst would go 6 - 3 - 2 - 5 - 1 - 4. Man, 4 was terrible, 6 was awesome. Also played Megaman 3, love the Shadow Man theme.

Wheel Gator's attack pattern is the easiest and most predictable, so go with him. You'll find yourself wall-climbing most of the type and dolling out charge shots when he submerges from the pool of blood(?) in his room.
