Eh, it might not be too bad if you're only playing through once. In the course of finishing Mass Effect, I played through it 5 times- if I had to sit through a 1/2 hour cutscene each time I'd be pissed.

The cut scenes are skippable.
Also, got Twice Nightly in B:AC

Armored Core for Answer (weird name)

Chapter 1, Chapter 2 and Chapter 3: complete chapters 1, 2 and 3, respectively
Ending 1: complete story path 1 (League Path)
AF Land Crab: defeat the arms fort Land Crab- this thing doesn't even seem like a AF. It's more like a giant MT/Normal
AF Sol Dios Orbit: defeat the arms fort Sol Dios Orbit- I was surprised by this thing, and the manueverability of its orbiters, but had enough firepower it wasn't a big deal
AF Stigro: defeat the arms fort Stigro- I found this one interesting, since most Armored Core enemies shoot, instead of charging you. I tried landing on top of it (yeehaw) to stay away from the blade and attack, but fell off quickly. In the end, I just waited for it to charge then boosted up a bit and blasted away.
AF Eclipse: defeat the arms fort Eclipse- tried landing on this one too, but couldn't, so I just blasted it
AF Cabracan: defeat the arms fort Cabracan- a cool design, although I found trying to take out its drones annoying. This is what I expected an AF to look like.
AF Spirit of Motherwill: defeat the arms fort Spirit of Motherwill- I like this one- it looks like a giant AC. I found it annoying trying to figure out exactly what to shoot.
AF Great Wall: defeat the arms fort Great Wall- aptly named. This is how I assumed all AF would have to be destroyed.
AF Jet: defeat the Jet arms forts- lol, I didn't even know this had unlocked until I looked at my achievements. Challenging enemies to attack and dodge at once.
Arena Rank 20 and Arena Rank 10: achive rank 20 and 10, respectively, in the Collared arena
Arena: defeat all ACs in the Collared arena- this arena wasn't too bad, for the most part, although some AC were definately annoying. One that sticks out is Fragile- it moved around so much, I could hardly hit it until I switched to some tracking missles.
ORCA Arena: defeat all the ACs in the ORCA arena- the MOONLIGHT user bugged the crap out of me.

Armored Core for Answer

AF Answerer: defeat the Arms Fort Answerer- this thing is awesome. It completely destroyed me at first, and has continued to seem invincible to my normal projectile weapons. Using KIKU swords was the only way I could take it out.
Normal Difficulty: beat all missions on normal difficulty- pisses me off that you have to play through 5 times to unlock every mission (and the 4th and 5th only give 1 extra one). The hardest normal one was probably the last, Occupation of Alteria Carpals, although I didn't know of the ARGYROS arms then. Have been able to 'S' rank every normal mission at this point (unbelievably).
Ending 2: complete the ORCA storyline- not a bad storyline, but I didn't follow the reasoning behind what you're supposed to do.
Ending 3: complete the 'Destruction' storyline- I found this a totally stupid ending. It's last mission is a great challenge, but the one before that is completely idiotic.

Armored Core: For Answer

Hard Mode: complete all missions on hard- wow, some of these are crazy. 'Occupation of Arteria Carpals' & 'Attack on Arteria Cranium' were the last two I had to do.
S Rank: achieve a mission rank of S- this unlocked right after I got finished all hard missions.

All that's left (offline) is the SS Rank. I'm going to try, but I'm not holding my breath. I've never been able to do it before, but I've gotten all 'S's on the normal missions, and I hadn't been able to do that before either. Not looking forward to having to play 'Occupation' again.

I got some story based stuff in Bioshock 2.

So far so good. It really goes by the motto "If it's not broken, don't fix it." The core gameplay remains the same and it includes bells and whistles, like having all of the plasmids available at the beginning of the game and I different hacking system. Also, I got more achievements in Bioshock 2 (mostly story).

SS Rank: achieve a rank of S (the best) in every mission- god I'm glad to get this done. I was getting so sick of hearing some of those opening dialogues. Well, and sick of failing, too. I ended up using the Saline missles with V1 Regs. to take out the last 3 missions I needed.

Now I'm going back to Armored Core 4 (which I played a year or two ago) to try to get the SS rank on there- It's always bugged me that I didn't do it before.

SS Rank: get an S rank on every mission- I went back to this game to do this. I was thinking about it, and I think it's been 1.5 to 2 years since I played before. It's been bothering me all that time that I didn't do it, and it only took me about a day & 1/2 to finish what I'd started back then.
