Gears of War 2

Forged in the Fire: win a wingman match on each of the Combustible map pack levels- don't really care for wingman matches. The one on Flood was crazy. My team was down by 10 at one point (playing to 20), but the guys leading starting getting wiped out quickly, and I got a hot steak, and we still ending up winning. Never have to go to Flood again. Oh wait, except for horde stuff. Crap.
Bound by a Shared Past: win a wingman match of each of the Flashback map pack levels- these weren't bad, although Subway was the first wingman match I'd played since the tutorial, so I felt like I got dropped into a meat grinder.
Rookie Gear: reach level 5 in multiplayer- this came as a surprise. I assumed I couldn't get it, because the multiplayer I was playing with bots gave me no experience. However, when I started playing horde on Day One (offline), I started getting experience. Don't know way it happened, really, but whatever.
The Weather Outside is Lethal: win a match on each of the Snowblind map pack levels- these were cool (oops, lol), except for the Fuel Depot. For some reason I sucked there.
My Way or the Highway: complete the deleted scene choosing the stealth option without being detected- done on hard. This was about the lamest stealth I've ever seen. I mean, I'd think if the locust saw two 'therons' sneaking around like we did they'd figure something was up. Also, the distractions were lame. 'Hey what was that?'. 'I don't know, probably wasn't that 'theron' over by the wheel that drops that noisy box'. I'm guessing the stealth part was reason this part wasn't in the final game.
Highway to Hell: complete the deleted scene choosing the guns blazing option- done on hard. Doing it this way was fun. When Marcus was like 'we'll have to do this the hard way' I was like 'you mean the fun way'.
Two for the Road: complete the deleted scene in co-op mode- done on normal. I just did this alone with a second controller. Not really much different then total solo, except trying to keep Dom from dying during the final battle.

Seasoned Gear and Battle-Tested Gear: earn enough experience to get to level 15 and 25, respectively- think I'm at level 30 right now
Be Careful What You Wish For: get to multiplayer level 8 and complete horde waves 1-10 on War Machine- done solo, on normal. This one was weird, because I didn't use any boomshields against the bloodmounts. I camped by the mulcher spawn point, and killed 3 bloodmounts (but not their riders) at the beginning of the round, and no more ended up spawning. Not sure if that's a glitch or what, but whatever.
Ride It All Night Long: get to multiplayer level 10 and complete horde waves 1-10 on Highway- done solo, on normal. I basically just camped by the torque bow / longshot once Maulers started showing up, and blocked the way with a shield. Not too bad.
Lost in Transition: get to multiplayer level 20 and complete horde waves 1-20 on Way Station- done solo, on normal. I hated this one on multiplayer, but it actually wasn't bad on horde. I basically just camped one of the rooms farthest from the mulcher / flamer spawn point. There's only 2 ways in/out, both on the same side of the room, so it wasn't too hard to defend.
No, But His Face Rings a Bell: get to multiplayer level 15 and complete waves on Sanctuary- done solo, on normal, although there were many times I nearly went down to easy. This was a nightmare. There's no real place to camp, and there was a ton of times when I was near setting something up that I'd get flanked and killed. Even just getting through level 8 sucked. Anyway, the only times I ended up getting through rounds ending in 9 or 0, I set up a base in the central building, with a shield on either opening. The time I finally beat level 20, I accidently switched my lancer for a boomshot at the beginning of the round, but couldn't switch back since I was setting up shields. Fortunately, the torque bow and boltok I had, as well as the spawning longshot, saw me through. Thank god it's done.
