Wink You got a shiny in how many eggs ? (Masuda Method)

So I want to know your experience with breeding with the Masuda Method :

How many eggs did you need to hatch a shiny pokémon?

If you've done it a lot what's your lowest number of eggs and your highest?

    What is the Masuda method?

Here's what you can find about it on serebii.net :
In the fourth generation, a variety of things have changed in order to allow for the obtaining of Shiny Pokémon. First is a method commonly known as the Masuda Method, named after the game developer and the person who revealed it; Junichi Masuda. This method has you breed two Pokémon. However, one of the Pokémon must be of a different nationality than your game (such as a Japanese Pokémon on an English game). This will lower the chances of hatching a shiny Pokémon from 1 in 8,192 to 1 in 2,048 cutting it by 75% in Generation IV. However, in Generation V, it is boosted even further from 1 in 8,192 to 1 in 1,365.3.

Zero, I've never gotten a shiny from it. But it's nice to learn that the chance is even better in Gen 5, I thought it was still around 1/2000.

    In Gen. 4 (1/2048), I hatched:

    -Taillow (2000+ eggs)
    - Piplup (2082 eggs)

    In Gen 5 (1/1365) I've hatched:

    - Rufflet (2837 eggs)
    - Munna (1638 eggs)
    - Heatmor (473 eggs)

I was really pleased when Heatmor hatched, I felt overdue for some early shiny luck! I'm now hatching for a shiny Ducklett and have done 70 eggs.

Check my sig... I've never been terribly lucky when it comes to MM'ing, but at least I haven't had to do much more than 1000 so far. I just Elgyem doesn't take too much longer.
Every time a Yamask egg hatches, someone dies.
