Anyway, just wasted an hour or so watching all the videos (man I pronounce a lot of pokemon wrong). As far as I can tell, all the models and textures have been updated to match the quality of 4th and 5th gen models. I suspect a few 2nd and 3rd gen models have been left untouched, but unlike Battle Revolution nothing seems like its obviously like its from the nintendo 64. They've absolutely wrecked swablu and altaria, mind.
However, many of the animations still look absolutely retarded (looking at you golbat). I really hope they redo most of the older animations to look more natural before they release the next console game, although some of the animations I think are new also look a bit daft (hitmontop for example).

Most of these animations don't fit with PBR styled animations so I don't think you have to worry that much

The uploader of the footage linked to on the last page is making videos showcasing every Pokémon and its animation. The Kanto video should be up in about an hour.

Yeah, but most of the issues are idle animations. Golbat is still doing that stupid cape pose when it should be flying. Exeggutor still seems to be standing on hot coals. At least they fixed growlithe and kangaskhan.

For those of you who have Pokédex 3D Pro, the ability to unlock Meloetta's forms have been revealed. To do this, you need to create a quiz in quiz slots 37-39 with the password RGFOAUTF. After completing a 20 question quiz, you will be able to unlock both Meloetta's Aria Forme & Pirouette Forme. A password for Genesect has yet to be revealed

I'm just missing Panpour, Simipour and Sawsbuck's Winter Form now. I don't think I'll manage to obtain them, especially not the first two, but there's always the eventual update to rely on. At least, I hope that update is given outside of Japan.

Just a random thought, but since Meloetta & Genesect were hidden away, I wonder if maybe Shiny versions of the models might be tucked away as well?
It'd be a neat thing to add to "playability"

I'd say Wartortle is a better choice because of its ears, but it probably tucks its ears into its shell when it uses Rapid Spin. Either way, this is a cool idea. I wonder if other Pokémon could be used in a Mario Kart picture. Maybe Darmanitan as DK (akin to how Serebii used Darmanitan as DK in DK Country Returns). and Blastoise as Bowser.

Anyways, now thanks to the update, I can finally get all the Pokémon. Today, I got Female Jellicent and Autumn & Spring Deerling. Still need Pansear, Simisear & Female Frillish. Got 161 right now.

EDIT: If I can make a recommendation for a picture, how about Gliscor acting as Batman in Arkham City? You could also maybe have Liepard or something as Catwoman.

Probably didn't start until today. After I got the update yesterday, I tried doing SpotPass, but it wouldn't work. Did SpotPass today and it worked.
