This episode needed more Stunfisk. Well, here's hoping that the next one has it, being Cilan based.

Also, would have liked to see Palpitoad switched in, even if just for this episode. Ash was at a Pokémon Centre...

Yawn. It was exactly like one of those everyday fillers the writers have been feeding us for the past ~13 years. But good that Roggenola was caught, yay for the first Rock type. Oh, and Excadrill had an awesome entry!

-Today, our heroes...wait, we started off with a Roggenrola hopping off somewhere. Nevermind.
-Oh, there we go. We get another bit of Dento's Food Porn Time before Roggenrola barges into their lunch. Dento is rather displeased - IT'S UNBELIEVABLE TIME. Then Ash dex scans Roggenrola while Dento's busy crying.
-Ash responds to the clearly panicked Roggenrola by...trying to catch it. Oh, Ash.
-Roggenrola's pretty adept at dodging & deflecting Oshawott's moves. I'll admit I got a kick out of Oshawott's own water gun being blasted back in its face!
-Dento notices some sort of weird thing on Roggenrola's back. Gee, I wonder if that could possibly be the source of its panic?
-Ash switches in Tepig, which manages to score a hit with Flame Charge. And it coincidentally also manages to knock off the weird thing that was stuck to Roggenrola.
-But then Roggenrola kicks Tepig's ass. Oh well!
-Oh sure, when TEPIG gets knocked out, it's cause for being concerned about it and maybe running to the Pokemon Center. But when OSHAWOTT got knocked out, you just recalled it back into its ball and said nothing more about it. Such sickening favoritism!
-Roggenrola keeps yelling something at the gang as they leave. I guess the weird thing stuck to its back wasn't entirely the cause of that?
-At the Pokemon Center...some dude with a hat walks in and leads everyone into a conversation about something that's undoubtedly important, but that I can't understand.
-And of course it leads into a "wait, did you say ROGGENROLA" moment.
-Meanwhile, Roggenrola is babbling to a bunch of wild Pokemon, but is interrupted by the sound of...something...from deep within the caves. A something which reaches out with thin arms and drags a bunch of other Roggenrola into the abyss. A something which...oh come on, we all know it's Team Rocket.
-Well, at least it didn't take the twerps too long to encounter TR's mecha.
-Ash manages to save the one Roggenrola, but there's still a couple dozen left trapped in the honeycomb thing sticking out from the mecha!
-TR leaves the scene, but not without CAUSING A BUNCH OF ROCKS TO START FALLING FROM THE CEILING & TOWARDS THE TWERPS.
-Luckily, a well-aimed Luster Cannon stops Ash from being turned into a pancake.
-Then TR blasts a GIANT LUSTER CANNON LASER at the cave entrance, trapping the twerps inside. TR may still be kind of boring, but at least they don't fuck around anymore.
-But wait! Iris has a trick up her sleeve - her newly obedient Excadrill!
-Dento sends out Pansage too, but it just isn't quite as cool as Excadrill's dramatic entrance. And yet the COTD thanks Dento, even though I strongly suspect that Excadrill did most of the digging work. Harumph!
-I just noticed that Roggenrola's mouth...ear...thing...hole expands and contracts as it's saying stuff. Somehow, that's kind of creepy.
-Yes Ash, I'm sure that standing in front of the Luster Cannon Laser with your arms outstretched will be very effective in protecting everyone else from it.
-And then TR loses control of the laser as their mecha starts falling apart at the seams.
-Back at the Pokemon Center, everyone gets all healed up...and that one Roggenrola suddenly goes outside. It wants a battle, apparently! I can see where this is headed...
-Iris and Dento are oddly impressed at Tepig and Roggenrola tackling each other over and over.
    -And Ash catches Roggenrola. Joy.

Overall...this episode was honestly pretty boring. It was good to see Tepig doing something for a change, but that really doesn't make the episode interesting in and of itself. Oh well, not every episode can be a winner. :/

This episode was good. It was great to see a Dangoro for the 1st time. It is so cute! especially when it kept jumping up and down and its cute little voice. As usual Dent looked very funny when he got mad when Dangoro jumped on the Lunch-Table and made a big mess with all of the food. It was great to see Pokabu get another episode where he was centered. It was cool to see Shimama, Darumakka, and Shikijika again. When all of the Dangoro were forced to do Flash Cannon together, the colors looked so cool! Dangoro was really strong with such great attacks. I'm really glad Pokabu was able to defeat it, and Ash caught Dangoro. It's really cool how Dangoro talks while its mouthhole opens and closes.

Eh. . . for the benefit of those who didn't watch the episode or don't want to because they can't understand Japanese (I know that doesn't stop people watching it). I for one like reading Juputoru's summaries.

She is making an analysis giving her opinion on every part of the episode, I think it is usually funny so I don't.

I have seen people do 3 walls of text that is uneeded(uneeded as in I doubt anyone is going to read that) but its their time, they do what the hell they want with it.

Because I'm a very bored woman with too much free time, and people seem to like these things for some reason. Also because there's often not a summary of the episode before I post my thoughts on the ep - even though these are generally not very detailed summaries, they *are* summaries.

Anyway, less derailing the thread about my posts and more discussion of the episode, please!

Still the same formula as most episodes of pokemon

    *pokemon in need
*people from town know about this or something
    *TEAM ROCKET AGAIN
    *montage of battles
    *Team Rocket escapes
    *Capture oppressed showcased pokemon.

My god. I'm dying to know what happened in Castelia City and why did Team Rocket return to what they were doing before, minus the seriousness.

Roggenrola's voice is cutest thing since Mijumaru's. I love how it just jumps around with no emotion shown. Such an interesting character.

Tepig smiled cheek to cheek to when it was defeated. I call character development!~*

Overall it was a boring episode. Probably one of the most unmemorable captures this generation. Better than Pidove's obviously...

Never saw this episode, but I know I speak for everyone that Roggenrola will happily take Palpitoad's spot on Ash's belt.

*Kicks Palpitoad out of the team.

Palpitoad isn't even on the team, it's at Juniper's lab. So it can't replace it on the team if it's not on the team in the first place.

    Unbelievable.

The writers are blindly giving Ash Pokemon. Watch half of them get terrible development. Palpitoad and Roggenrola are unnecessary.

Huh, this episode was today? Time surely flies, don't it?

Anyway, I must say this is surprising. Here we have a wild Pokemon that WANTED the assistance of three trainers, and then eventually gets captured. I wasn't that keen on Ash getting Rogg' but I think I'll like this little guy.

Glad to see TR is still being an actual threat. I'm so glad the writers changed them, because they really needed it.

Why? not like the sith spot gets a lot of attetion, fire, water ,grass and wildcard always get more attention then the bird, all the other pokemons are falling in the bird category not the wildcard one, Scraggy is the usual wildcard.

They don't need to get the same amount of development those 4 get, so yeah use them once in a while, use them in battles and I'm fine with it, I respect your opinion though but to me if it goes this way I will be entertained.

This episode wasn't the best, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. I love Roggenrola's voice! I'm just dreading its dub voice. *cringes* I rate this episode 7/10.

Laugh at me if you want, but I really wasn't expecting Ash to catch that Roggenrola. I can't believe I was so ignorant!!!
