    Default Mono Normal Team

Okay ive tried this team on PO and everyone I faced wiped the floor with me, I know I need to make changes, and there are some obvious weaknesses here, but im unsure what to do to fix them, please remember with suggestions that this is a Monotype team... so dont come out with something stupid like " Its weak to fighting "... I know this and ive tried to combat this with 2 Flying/Normals but still. It tends to be steel types however that I struggle with so yeah... =P read on RMT'ers!

    Team at a glance:

    Ambipom @ Life Orb
    Technician
    Jolly
    252 Attack/252 Speed/4 HP
    -Fake Out
    -Pursuit
    -U-Turn
    -Low Kick

Simple lead, STAB + Technician Fake out for a free hit, low kick as a regular attack, pursuit to predict switches and to gain extra damage from Technician, and U-Turn as its handy and also gains a bonus from Technician

    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Thick Fat
    Careful
    188 HP/104 Defence/206 Special Defence
    -Curse
    -Earthquake
    -Rest
    -Body Slam

Typical curselax, simply because my friend seems to sweep teams effortlessly after setting him up with 4+ curses, so I felt he would fit in a monotype team quite well ( it was either him or a Smeargle belly drum -> baton pass -> kangaskhan w/ scrappy to hit ghosts, then use return to sweep... this meant I had another space in the team)

    Swellow @ Toxic Orb
    Guts
    Jolly
    252 Attack/252 Speed/4 HP
    -Brave Bird
    -U-Turn
    -Quick Attack
    -Facade

Speed... nuff said... nah, its just I felt a need for a quick pokemon, although it doesnt really seem to work out ( Plus I LOVE toxic orb + guts <3 )

    Porygon-Z @ Life Orb
    Adaptability
    Modest
    252 Special Attack/252 Speed/4 Defence
    -Tri Attack
    -Dark Pulse
    -Hidden Power Ice
    -Nasty Plot

Who better to have as a normal special sweeper than porygon-z? 3rd best non uber SpAtk stat reaching over 400... cant go wrong there, especially with a stab tri-attack and brilliant coverage.

    Togekiss @ Leftovers
    Serene Grace
    Calm
    232 Health/252 Speed/24 Special Defence
    -Nasty Plot
    -Air Slash
    -Aura Sphere
    -T-Wave

Typical parahax annoyer, I wanted a flying type to counter fighting types... so I got one, he might be seen as cheap... but meh, I need him to have a chance with this team.

    Meloetta (Normal/Psychic) @ Leftovers
    Serene Grace
    Bold
    252 HP/100 Defence/156 Special Defence
    -Charge Beam
    -Psychic
    -Shadow Ball
    -Hyper Voice

Okay, I was flicking through normal types... and Meloetta oh my <3 Great stats, great typing and an even better movepool... especially with serene grace raising Charge Beams chance of SpAtk increasing to 100%... psychic with an increased chance of dropping your opp's Sp Def... and STAB... Shadow Ball coverage with the same effect as Psychic... and STAB Hyper Voice with 90 Base power... meaning 135 base power... although it lacks a secondary effect.

Okay so theres the team, its messed up Ive only tested it over 1 day and tbh... Im too lazy to figure out what to change today... only just came out of a GCSE Graphics exam that went appauling, so yeah this wasnt the kind of this I felt like doing :/

Anyway thanks in advance for any support =D!

There's one solution to your losses: DON'T RUN A MONO TEAM!!! Mono teams are the worst possible strategy you can possibly have in competitive battling. You're begging to be set up on. Take a common OU threat: Lucario. All it needs is to be baton-passed a swords dance and a speed boost or even swords dance itself and your team is completely, utterly screwed. And you have no way to stop other steels from setting up on you, either. They will utterly wall you. Scrap the team and never look back.

    Haha =P I see where your coming from =P it isnt really for competitive battling as such ( unless you use the monotype tier in PO ) mainly for example to play around with or for usage as a gym leader style thing etc, thanks for your reply but it wasnt exactly what I was asking for ^^;

Dude Bouffalant needs to be in their!
i'm part of a mono gym (thw water leader) and our mono normal leaders team is kinda similar to this
    a more stall team
    He consists of
Ambipom (opener, same to your apart from one move)
    Togekiss (his sweeper)
Snorlax/Blissey/Chansey (he changes for every math this one)
    Bouffant/Kangaskham (hard hitter/hitter)
Dunsparce (he loves it, so thats why he's in his team) otherise he uses Staraptor in his place
    Smeargle

but he ran a normal TR team:
    Snorlax
    Ursaring
    Porygon-Z
Regigigas(we let him hve it, otherwise his team gets beaten ALL the time)
    Bouffalant
    Braviary

but i would like to point out he gets own but all of us
(I'm the Water leader and have no problem sweeping him)
but if you want me to expand their movesets and evs feel free to ask me

    Swellow @ Toxic Orb
    Guts
    Jolly
    252 Attack/252 Speed/4 HP
    -Brave Bird
    -U-Turn
    -Return
    -Facade

Return over Quick Attack, since despite priority, Return is more powerful.

Seems interesting, any ideas of his movesets and EV spreads so I have something to take a bit of inspiration from? ^^

^Naw, NP > Heat Wave, due to the boosting of Toge's SpA is very useful.
