Archeops in the Modern World (698)

Not bad, but anything is better than episode 38 of BW. I liked the bird, but I'm glad it wasn't caught. More Tranquill development is always nice, but I would rather never see Stunfisk ever again. Ever.

Ohw how I love when other supposedly extinct pokemon are shoehorned in.. Pretty much ruined the episode for me, heck leave the bird with the professors, but this was hella awefull.

Sounds a bit bitter, I'm sure, but I was really liking this episode and then boom: AH HELLZ NO...

Stunfisk and Emolga were cool. Better Electric types then Pikachu if I may say so :P

You know, it just hit me but we got an episode where TRio had been the villains in a non major plot episode and they didn't say their motto. I think the universe just broke.

I'm just glad no one caught Archeops. I'm sorry but there is already ugly Pokemon in Iris's and Cilan's group. And Ash just caught one. But I'm glad everyone's Pokemon stepped in to help. They should keep doing that with filler Pokemon from now on. Keep it interesting.

1. Who is Zager? I mean he's been coming up all over this arc with TR acting like they knew him yet I don't remember him appearing before BW.

Actually they were formally introduced to him in BW017 by Pierce, and of course naturally any episode after BW017, they're going to know who he is.

I guess this was a decent episode. Right off the bat, I'm glad that Fennel reappeared. I missed her for some reason, and seeing her with Professor Juniper just felt right. I thought that the whole resurrection process used to restore the Plume Fossil into an Archen was a little confusing, but I'm glad that Archen had some personality. I didn't like it much once it evolved, but then again, I rarely think that fully-evolved Pokemon are interesting. I hated Team Rocket during this episode since they just went ahead and ruined the flow as usual, but at least Ash didn't capture Archeops. That made all the difference IMO. 6/10.

Okey episode I guess. Better then the last episode for sure.

Stunfisk, who I actually begun to like, was pretty cool. It's so ugly, but I like it. Still hate seeing Pikachu using Electro Ball. And Archen was OK I guess, while Archeops was meh. This episode is simply just "meh" and nothing else.

I liked this episode because of these reasons:
~Tranquill and Roggenrola? My money is on that Scraggy got sent back. Him or Tepig.
~ I couldn't stop laughing at the part with Emolga and Stunfisk.
~ Glad to see that the Archen was a girl. Gotta love Emolga's attract.
~Tranquill got some screen time. Now we just need a Palpitoad episode.
~The look on Oshawott's face is absaloutly priceless.
~ I love the parts where Tranquill landed on Ash's head and at the end when she said goodbye to Archeops. Awwwwww. I said she made a new frend.

This has been my favorite episode of Best Wishes so far. ^_^

So Zagar plans to use the data Team Rocket stole, and use the Dream Smoke they got in BW006 to do something, sounds interesting. Wounder how this will all turn out.

Oh come on, how can you honestly call Archen or Archeops ugly? They're the most awesome looking fossils ever and have such pretty colors. Oh well, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Thank you for pointing that out. All of Ash's birds not only evolve but they get almost around the same amount of screentime. So to me the only type of Ash's Pokemon that ever recieves justice are his birds. I can see Freezant(excuse spelling) around the corner.
