After asking around, something seems to have screwed up with database. They need to load from a backup, apparently.

EDIT: US retailers may start selling the game early. I still need to find better proof though. BRB.

Ouch. That's why they were down for the whole day. Heh, well, I can wait.
For the site to get back-up and for the game.
So yeah, it doesn't matter if they start selling earlier or not. Not for me, that is. I can wait... as much as I want the game.

Edit: I hope Serenes Forest is okay... I wonder if they back up often. If they don't... then that's not very good news...

It would definitely be nice to get the game early, though without proof, I won't anticipate it much. If at all, though, it wouldn't hurt to release it even one day early. Monday doesn't seem like the greatest of days for a release, but again, I'm not complaining if Monday is when the wait ends. I can survive a few days, anyway.

"I mentioned this in a similar topic, but the hard drive failed and we're restoring from the backups. The site is probably around 100 GB in size (just guessing), so it'll take a while."

Taken from GameFaqs, I guess it'll be fine.

Anyways, I doubt it'll hit the US early as well, seems too unlikely. I guess there's a chance, though. I have it preordered from Best Buy; will they call when the shipment comes in?

...Ok, I set myself up for that one. :/ Wow, you weren't kidding? It appears now that Gamestop is a total mess, though, with the apparent lift of the street date. I called my Gamestop to be sure, and apparently, they say the release date is February 5th. I honestly don't know what I should believe now. :S

I should have expected that to be a pun.
Personally, I'm going to play with the English dub the first time through, since I've heard good things about it, and they seemed great in the demo. I'll experiment a bit more with later playthroughs, though.

This series needs more Shin Monshou no Nazo localisation.

Were they really surprised that Shadow Dragon sold so horribly? I didn't see a single advert for it in the UK and I only found a single copy in one shop which was the only one any of them had in stock. ON LAUNCH DAY.

That, and Shadow Dragon sucks.

Piece of advice: Get Fire Emblem and Path of Radiance and possibly Radiant Dawn. Fire Emblem and PoR are my favourites in the series by far.

Oh, and Soren for SSB4.

It doesn't suck, you just have to stick it out in the beginning. After that the game gets better, a lot better.

You also need to be careful of what characters you pick, because most of them are terrible and can make the game far more difficult than it really is.

As for Awakening, I'll be playing through with Japanese audio. Original audio is always the best choice.

If we're able to save multiple files, then I'll test out both tracks and see which is more appealing. Both sound very amazing, though, so it's very hard to choose. I'm so, so, SO excited for this game!! It's my first ever FE game, and all of the high rankings from reviewers have gotten me really pumped!
